Blue Ridge Paving

Review: My elderly, Father was told by a representative for Premier Paving, that a back alley BEHIND HIS HOUSE, could be paved with some left over paving. The paving would be done for $1700-$1800. My Father agreed to that price, but after the project was finished, the bill came in at $3160.00, in which my Father paid. Any honest businessman should have told my father before the increase that the project would cost more than quoted, who then could have decided what to do. When my father asked to reach the rep, the worker who did the job said that he only does the work and not the negotiations. My, Father lives in [redacted], PA and has paid the full amount on the bill that he was given. No project should cost almost double when finished!I am furious about the companies who say one thing but do another! CONSUMERS BEWARE!Desired Settlement: I would like for the business to make it right with my father and not take advantage of our elderly and give at least 1/2 or more of the increase amount back to him; honoring the agreement in the first place. While the project may have cost more, no one should be handed a bill and told to pay nearly double what they agreed on. My father, a hard-working, blue-collar, veteran and honest man should not have had to paid the bill amount he was given.
