Review: April 13, 2013, had sod installed in front yard. Followed instructions of contractor in terms of daily waterings--even adjusted daily schedule so could make sure lawn had a good watering. Few days later, grass looked okay, but noticed brown holes in front yard. Emailed contractor, was told there should not be any, but might be where seams of sod sheets met. I could tell it was not where seams met. It was suggested I send pictures, so I sent 4 emails with pictures. Rec'd no response at all. Called again to inquire, but receptionist said all contractors out. I asked her if she knew if the clay-based soil had been treated beforehand as the contractor I had worked with explained they would do this (and since this question was also in one of the 4 emails which had not been answered) She put me on hold and came back to confirm it had been pre-treated with limestone and offered to leave a message with the contractor I had been working with. Never rec'd a response. Meanwhile, the grass continued to grow, but there were now obvious brown patches appearing after a couple weeks. May 23, called to report that grass seemed to be dying. Neighbors now asking what happened. Called Blue Ridge again, and a polite young lady answered who stated my contractor was not available, but she would ask someone in the break room what I should do. She came back to the phone and said I should water it. I explained it already looked dead, and that I had been watering it. She said she would leave a message for my contractor. I also sent him an email. Rec'd no response to either.Desired Settlement: Not sure what I'd like done, honestly. A response from someone about why it might be dead might be a good start?? Especially since I rearranged my life for weeks to schedule the necessary daily watering. Secondly, I would be open to replacement sod, or just a refund.

Review: I let the company do the aeration, composting and overseeding. They show up for the aeration and they have not even completed the whole yard. They don't show up for composting and overseeding. I tried to call them and leave a message for them like more than 20 times for composting and overseeding. I wrote a check on September 12th and they said they will come on September 19th. Then the technician came but the aeration machine broke. So, he said he will come back on September 20th. But he didn't come so I called the office and the person who picked up the phone said they will come next week on September 26th. But they did not show up. So, I called them again and they came but they didn't finish aeration the whole yard. Then, I tried to call them about finishing the aeration and overseeding and composting. The person who picked up the phone said she has to wait for the technician to tell her when they can come. But no one called me back yet and it's raining a whole week. After that week, I called them and left a message and they said they will come on Friday October 18th. Then, they called me on Friday that they are not done with the other houses so they said they will come back another day. But they didn't come again and they didn't call me back either. So, I left a lot of messages to whoever picked up the phone. I think all the people in the office know me by now. Then I want to get a refund instead because it's not even worth it. This is like more than a month now that I called them. They keep postponing me about the schedule.So, I just want my refund back and the office manager said I have to talk to the account manager. I called them 3 days in a row this week to talk to a account manager to get my refund back. But the account manager didn't even call me back. I don't know how can they do a business like this.I already paid the whole amount for aeration, overseeding and composting but I never get anything done at all.Desired Settlement: I want my refund back for Aeration, composting and overseeding. I don't want them to finish their job, just want my MONEY back.
