I have decided to stop pursuing this issueThis company is HORRIBLEThey just threatened to sue me over things that are completely untrueHe claims I never contacted him in regards to the GAP insurance but I emailed him times (I have proof)When I posted a Review for everyone to see, he then contacted meHe claimed that his email was not working but when I emailed him from a different account inquiring about a car, he emailed back in minutes (I have proof)They have sent me my check new check ($short according to the contract we originally signed)I am going to cash it and go on my merry wayThey have chosen to threaten suing me If I do not take my reviews down, but if this does come to light, I am going to counter sue for wasting my time and effortsI'm hoping that me accepting a lesser amount will end all of this

We are sorry for the way you feel about this situation. The amount for the refund is not our decision. The amount is based off of the documents you provided to the gap company and they make all the decisions from there. They calculate the refund based on the time the gap was activated for the loan....

 Again this is not our company for the gap insurance, it is a third party company. Also he never once  tried to give us a call. He also stated that it took 4 months to contact us which is not true. We never received and email or phone call from him. We had saw that Nate put a false review about us so we contacted him otherwise we would have never known. We called him and he promised us that he would remove his reviews and we put that on the back of the check as a reminder. The amount of $436.17 is the amount from the gap company. We cannot believe that Nate is making this big of a deal after we did more than enough for him. He had an interest rate he wanted and we beat that for him, Picked him up from his rental car company, and provided the best service we could have. We cannot believe that he's upset because we didn't receive any of his emails. This could have all be avoided and taken care of ASAP if he would have called. As soon as we got his email on 3/20/18 we issued another check and put it in the mailbox the same day. This is the way we do business. We try our best to please everyone. We hope that we can solve this problem! Again, nothing was done intentionally to make Nate upset.

Mr [redacted] came in to our car dealership to look for a truck. At the time we had 3 dodge rams that were all in the same criteria that he was looking for. Mr [redacted] was stating that we showed him a carfax of the truck he purchased but we are...

not signed with a Carfax Program. With that being said, we did not show him a carfax. If the screen was too bright to see then why did they not ask to explain it or turn the brightness down. Anyone that buys a car would like to know all the information about the vehicle. There was no carfax that was presented to Mr [redacted]. He admitted the truck was running fine with no issues before he purchased the truck. Before the deal was complete we offered Mr [redacted] Warranty for the truck. But he declined it. He then bought the truck "AS IS". He then came back and told us the truck was making a noise and we then offered him to take the truck back and trade it for another one, but once again he refused that offer. Then we offered him that if he would buy the engine that we would install the engine for him free of charge, and he once again, declined it. He then came back to our business threatening us and being very rude. We tried our best to please Mr [redacted] from the beginning by taking money off from the truck, putting tires on, reese hitch, and a alignment for free. And still he is not happy. If he doesn't remove this complaint we have no other choice but to take this to legal matters and take action. Hope we won't have to reach to this point.

There was no mention of working this out. Not pleased with response. You state that you do not use Carfax then why was it misrepresented by a worker as showing a report from his phone? Then pretending to take an email address to send it to? As you say "Anyone that buys a car would like to know all the information about the vehicle". True, I asked for such information. Specifically asked if it had been wrecked. Response was no. Did not want a vehicle from Michigan and was assured it was not and was told by your employee I was the 3rd owner. When I returned to your lot after the problems with the engine started with the information obtained on the vehicle, you stated that you use Autocheck.com. for info. My Carfax report has been submitted stating car has 8 previous owners, and has been wrecked on the front end and originally from Michigan. Vehicle history verbally presented in answer to my questions to seller was false. There was no money taken off the purchase price for the truck, I paid in full with cash and cashier's check on 6-24. Tires were put on the following Monday 6-27 Reese hitch was already on the truck, you supplied the ball only. Alignment was offered day of purchase but when problems arose, you withdrew offer. After taking you the quote from Glenbrook Dodge stating the engine needed rebuilt, you did offer to trade it for another truck but with an extra [redacted] additional added on to the price of another vehicle. Did not feel I should have to spend more money on another vehicle. You did not dispute that the engine was bad. You told me that you would install an engine that I would have to buy and install it for 1/2 the labor, not free of charge as you stated. I shouldn't have had to pay to replace the engine at all on a truck that was just purchased in good faith as a reliable truck. I purchased it as a drivable vehicle not a fixer upper. The only paperwork that I received from you the day of purchase was for title work and tax papers. No copies of anything else that I signed such as documentation that I purchased "AS IS". There was no paperwork in the window of the truck stating as is. Was offered warranty, declined because the truck was presented as a sound vehicle after asking questions of the vehicle's condition. Test drive down the road and back was fine. Within an hour or so after purchase oil gauge stated losing pressure. Contacted Prof Auto immediately and was told they would look at it the following Monday 6-27 when they put the tires on. On Monday they didn't find anything wrong with the engine. Motor started making noise after that. That's when I took it to Glenbrook Dodge and had it checked. Two repair places stated the same conclusion. The engine was bad. Prof Auto did not dispute the condition of the engine. Had Arcola Engine rebuild engine for [redacted] Not asking you to take the truck back even though it has been wrecked as stated in carfax report. Would like restitution for engine repairs. Felt this sale was misrepresented and false information supplied.

The truck Mr [redacted] purchased is a 2002 Dodge ram (14 years old) with 159,780 miles on it. Before he purchased the truck we offered an extended warranty. He declined it. And he admitted the truck ran perfect when he bought it. So we don't know what happened after he bought it. Even though we offered to buy the truck back, fully refunded, and put him in a different truck, he declined it. Then we offered to install another used engine and he declined it. So Mr [redacted] chose to take it somewhere else and rebuild the whole engine. We tried to please Mr [redacted] with so many options but he declined every single one of them. We cannot do anything for him anymore. We have been in business for 15 years and we strive to please every single customer the best we can, but Mr [redacted] made his own decision and wants us to pay for it which we are unable to do. We wish him good luck!
