In our contract we stated we will remove and haul away kitchen items to be replaced.? We removed the kitchen starting on August 1st 2017.? We received an email on September 8th from [redacted] asking us to return the microwave/venthood that was removed when we started the kitchen remodel.? I explained that I was unsure of exactly where it went do to the time that had lapsed between the removal and when he was asking for it.? I said that I would look into it and see what I can do but we do not keep them at a warehouse or anything if we are hauling them off.? I explained that we will try to find a home for things that are working instead of taking them to the dump or recycling.? We do not get receipts for items we take to charitable places since there is no need for a receipt? I told him I would try and see if I could find it or get a receipt for it and talked to him about it a few weeks ago about that.? We no longer have the microwave or a receipt? We do let customers know that if they would like to keep something they need to tell us before we start the demo, he did let us know that he had taken down some cabinet doors to keep for crafts prior to the demo

I have attached a copy of the email where I first responded about the microwave which I received on August 2nd The tear out of the kitchen started on August first, at this time I do not know which day the microwave was hauled off Typically the appliances are the first things removed They responded no worries if it was hauled off After he asked again on September 8th it is more difficult to hunt down the microwave I did call him and let him know I would try to find it even after his wife said no worries if we hauled it off I called him and told him that I thought we had found it and would let him know in about a week or so I needed to go and take a look at it and see if I could tell if it was his I was then contacted by the Revdex.com I found out the microwave we dropped off was not his and after receiving a text from him I told him I was responding through the Revdex.com I did not tell him to check my response We do not get receipts for donations since there is no purpose for a receipt The only reason I can see to get a receipt for a charitable donation is if you file a schedule A on your taxes and we do not do that As you can see in the attached email we were asked about a few different other things such as removing the phone jack which we did at no additional charge Once a change order was made for the new dishwasher we had left the old dishwasher in the garage and and at the end did haul that off without getting a receipt as well We as a company do not get receipts for someone else to use, we do however let clients know that if they want to keep anything we are removing they need to tell us ahead of time and we will leave at their home for them to do as they wish with the item(s)

I am rejecting this response because: *** was actually contacted by my wife immediately when the microwave was removed and was told it was not possible to get it back even though it was the same day the microwave was removed. I repeatedly asked *** for the microwave or a receipt for the donation and was ignored. Then on 11-13-*** called me at 3:pm and said she had found the microwave and would check it out and deliver it to us within a weekWhen she did not deliver it I sent her texts asking about itShe said she responded to the Revdex.com and to check her response.*** bends the truth for her advantage. I truly believe she did not donate the microwave but either sold it or gave it to an employee/family member. Why would she not have a donation receipt if she donated it to charity? Her story makes no sense.*** ***

I have attached a copy of the email where I first responded about the microwave which I received on August 2nd. The tear out of the kitchen started on August first, at this time I do not know which day the microwave was hauled off. Typically the appliances are the first things removed They responded no worries if it was hauled off. After he asked again on September 8th it is more difficult to hunt down the microwave I did call him and let him know I would try to find it even after his wife said no worries if we hauled it off. I called him and told him that I thought we had found it and would let him know in about a week or so. I needed to go and take a look at it and see if I could tell if it was his. I was then contacted by the Revdex.com. I found out the microwave we dropped off was not his and after receiving a text from him I told him I was responding through the Revdex.com. I did not tell him to check my response. We do not get receipts for donations since there is no purpose for a receipt. The only reason I can see to get a receipt for a charitable donation is if you file a schedule A on your taxes and we do not do that. As you can see in the attached email we were asked about a few different other things such as removing the phone jack which we did at no additional charge. Once a change order was made for the new dishwasher we had left the old dishwasher in the garage and and at the end did haul that off without getting a receipt as well. We as a company do not get receipts for someone else to use, we do however let clients know that if they want to keep anything we are removing they need to tell us ahead of time and we will leave at their home for them to do as they wish with the item(s).
