Great and easy to use
I had several textbooks worth over $200. I sent them in to Blue Rocket Books and I chose ACH as my payment method. They emailed me both when they received the books and when the payment was sent. I will definitely be using them again next semester.

DO NOT USE: SCAM
DO NOT USE: I sent in 2 books and was quoted a $37 payment. The vendor replied and said the books are not in good condition and stated that if I sent them $6.95 they would send the books back to me. I sent them $6.95 and the vendor decided to keep one of the books to resell WITHOUT MY CONSENT and after taking my $6.95. WEBSITE IS A SCAM! Note to Vendor: If you decide to give me my second book back, I'll take down this review.

Complaint
This is the first buyback I have done with blue rocket, and I wont be selling any of my books to them. They said I sent in a water damaged book which is absurd. I have been selling my textbooks back for 2 and half years now. In know what condition the book was in when I sent it and there was definitely no water damage to the book I sent in. I will not use this company again, and when my friends ask me I will tell them not to use this company.

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:I in fact DID send the book back and it was most certainly packaged correctlyI wouldn't file a Revdex.com complaint over a book that I never bothered to send back, especially when the buyback amount is a mere $14. It has been at least a month and a half since I sent the bookUnfortunately the USPS requests a tracking number for attempting to locate lost packages, however, Blue Rocket Books does not provide suchThe company's response was appalling, as I have seen several other similar complaints onlinePerhaps if the company bothered to provide a tracking number to customers, they wouldn't run into this situation so muchAdditionally, I think it is worth noting that Blue Rocket Books recently sent me an email indicating that they have received my book, yet they still only paid me half of what was quotedI have attached the email.Regards,*** ***

Thank you for your follow up with us We have researched this matter and we never received this order from the customer. Unfortunately it is the nature of our business where customers blame us for not receiving the package. The reality is the US Post Office could at
least possibly be at fault for losing the package. We did advise the customer to fill out lost package form with the post office. There is also a possibility that the customer did not package the order properly resulting in the item being lost. There is also a possibility that the item was never mailed to us. Our Website merely creates an order number. We do not enjoy these situations and we are certainly not trying to run an unscrupulous business. We have been online since with thousands of successful transactions At this point we will offer a 50% payment do at least partially reconcile with the customer. We will send it today. At this point this matter is now closed as far as we are concerned Thanks again *** Blue Rocket Books

HiThanks for contacting us Unfortunately the items received did not match the packing slip We emailed the customer several times telling them this and we offered to ship the rejected books back to the customer (at our expense)All we would need is the return shipping address
Even though our Website policy clearly states all rejected items will be recycled Once again if the customer wants the rejected items returned we need the shipping address.Thank you

HiWe previously rejected the order that you are referring to and have disclosed our company policy to you previously. Our Customer Service team did tell the customer to send us the item in and since there was a possible discrepancy we would pay for shipping to return the rejected item, if in fact it was rejectedWe are a family run business and always treat people how we want to be treated. As with any sell back from any legitimate company, you are agreeing to their terms and conditions when generating a quote. I apologize for any inconvenience that this may have causedSo, unfortunately, there is nothing that we can do at this time other than ship the rejected item back to the customer. I am rejecting this response because:In my email to Customer Service on April 7th, I sent a screen shot of one of the quotes I received, taken directly from My Account on bluerocketbooks.com. I'm sure they can also look up the order numbers in their system (#[redacted] and #[redacted]), if they want to confirm. The ISBN, title, and picture are all matches to the books I sent. When I explained and asked the Customer Service representative to double check the books, I was told instead that it was the quotes that were a mistake.If the company is again claiming the problem is that the books do not match the quotes, I would ask that they look up the quotes in their system and verify that the books do indeed match, because I know I double and triple checked the ISBNs before I shipped the books. If the company is instead claiming that the quotes themselves were generated in error, then I would ask that they still honor the quotes they sent me, since it was their system that somehow made a mistake.I will attach pdf copies of the two packing slips/quotes that I got from their website. If they will look at the two books I sent in, they will see that the books are both a match.
