I am rejecting this response because: by law Blue Shield of California is NOT required to keep my social security number in their system after my policy has been closed (I called California Department of Insurance, and they confirmed that)Therefore, I request that Blue Shield permanently deletes my social security number from their system --- it is very sensitive information and I do not want it to be vulnerable to potential future data breachesAgain, by law Blue Shield is NOT required to retain my social security number, and I request that they permanently remove it from their system

I previously submitted a complaint regarding a premium refund and was sent a letter from Blue Shield of California dated 1/30/that my refund of $would be credited back to my credit card 7-business days from *** **, Coordinator from the Grievance Department ###-###-####I have left Tracey numerous messages because the refund has not been credited backUpon calling the service line for Blue Shield they informed me once that the credit was in suspension and the rep would check whyOur call was disconnected after minutes on hold then I never received a call back despite the fact that they assure the caller if a disconnect happens they will call backUpon calling back hours later another rep told me that my credit due would only be $some dollarsAt this point I am at a loss at what to do because the first time I contacted Revdex.com Blue Shield then responded with the letter therefore I informed Revdex.com that the issue was taken care of because of the letter and phone call I had receivedI am asking that a check be sent to me directly from Blue Shield or immediate credit to the bank accountThank you for your time in resolving this matter. At this point I am at a loss at what to do because the first time I contacted Revdex.com Blue Shield then responded with the letter therefore I informed Revdex.com that the issue was taken care of because of the letter and phone call I had receivedI am asking that a check be sent to me directly from Blue Shield or immediate credit to the bank account.?

Thank you so much for what you do! In today's mail I received my long-lost refund check for $522.01. The check is dated 8/12/and it appears Blue Shield mailed it out with no address (just with my name & "Ashland, OR" even though I had taken the trouble to give their rep my exact address)I received this check today with the address hand-written: It was posted on 9/24/and arrived today with no apology nor explanation
This is the second time I have contacted the Revdex.com over problems with this company over the past couple of yearsI am confident I would still be without my refund had I not contacted the Revdex.com. I don't understand how a company such as Blue Shield (with such outrageously highly-paid CEOs) can give their subscribers such poor Customer ServiceIt is hard to know whether these kinds of problems result from this company's chaos and disorganization, or from their passive-aggressive style of wearing people down to the point where they give up and Blue Shield ends up keeping the moneyThank you for helping me to get some justice

One of my kids picked up the Revdex.com reply dated 10/1/and I have some concernsI had been working with two individuals from Congressman *** *** office regarding the handling of this issueThere was a change of staff in her office, this issue was put on the back burner and not addressed for some timeI was unaware I had to go through a grievance process until receipt of your letter dated 10/1/14, but not received until today
I had notified Blue Shield of this Issue back in March of this year, yet did not receive ANY reply from Blue ShieldI have proof of submission if neededNever once did I hear any mention of a grievance process or it’s necessity to do so
Now I’m receiving payment requests from providers I saw in the spring of this year and they state Blue Shield cancelled my coverage in the springYet, I have not received a refund of any premiums from this far back
I was in regular contact with the congressman’s office and never once did they indicate I had to go through the grievance processAll that was said was someone from Blue Shield would be In contact with me to obtain more information on my IssueTo date, I have not been contacted by anyone from Blue Shield ever!!!
I hope you can help me with this; I don’t feel I should be penalized for late receipt of mail and miscommunication from the congressman’s officeI brought my issue in everyone’s attention in good fait this past spring, as I am not working, have extensive medical ailments, and no monies to pay the providers I saw earlier this year
Please help, I am not sure what else to do

I am rejecting this response because:
The response they've submitted is completely irrelevant and ignores the facts and the complaint.
The employer has already allowed us to cancel, and they are equally upset about the blatant advertising and bait and switch that Blue Shield representatives sold them They have submitted complaints to Blue Shield on our behalf and for other employees In fact, they are looking to replace Blue Shield completely after this
We have already cancelled our Blue Shield account because we learned it was a useless plan that didn't offer anything in return for our money This money was gained by fraud, and it needs to be returned
Here are the facts:
Blue Shield misrepresented this plan to the employer and employees There was no misunderstanding This was fraud.
Blue Shield lists doctors that take the plan, yet when calling the doctors say no, they do not take this plan Blue Shield is fraudulently listing doctors and further misrepresenting the plan (The doctors used to take Blue Shield, but not after the new Afforfable Care Act took over.)
Blue Shield needs to take responsibility for the issues listed in the complaint and not hide behind "the employer." Blue Shield is the entity that took our money by fraud, and it is our money and not the employer's money
Please ask Blue Shield to address the original complaint and stop inventing excuses to dodge the truth

Company states: If customer is wanting to cancel then the customer must go to the employerBlue Shield does not make any cancellation changesOnce the cancellation occurs the refund would happenKeep in mind that this decision to cancel is up to the employers digression

I am rejecting this response because:Blue Shields response is vague at bestThey didn't provide any contact information of anyone that might be taking responsibility for the issueThey provided nothing except a very vague and inconclusive response to a issue that does not seem important to Blue Shield.They have not at this time bothered to contact me nor do I expect them to. I would be glad to sign an authorization form so that they would release the information to you so I can obtain it because they certainly won't be contacting meThis is why I had to contact your office for assistance
