The consumer in this complaint did not purchase an item from Blue Sky Bee Supply, LTD in Ravenna, Ohio (via phone, in-person or from our company website)--insofar as it was actually purchased from Amazon.comAmazon legally represents and
markets the items in their online marketplace (they own and manage the item listings/descriptions and can change them at will internally or at the request of 3rd parties), receives/processes the order, processes payment, warehouses, provides shipping/tracking info and manages all communication to/from the consumer--including feedback

The item in question, a plastic extractor had been listed for years by FarmStand Supply and had sold many units without issueAgain, Amazon's catalog can change radically over time and therefore images and descriptions (and even the item itself) can change without a 3rd-party seller's knowledgeAmazon told us we could keep the extractor item listing "as is" after they reviewed it with the product in their warehouseHowever, we chose to remove the item immediately (9/1/2015) from the catalog once the issue was identified, as we did not want further issues for future consumersAgain, we were not aware that the item information had changed from what was listed in
On 9/1/(when the consumer originally contacted us) we readily offered to ask Amazon provide a full refund, as well as a pre-paid return label without question (the consumer never asked for a refund or offered what resolution he was looking for in two separate communications)Since the consumer never replied to our offer to refund, we assumed he was sending back the extractor with the pre-paid label we provided and would immediately process a refund request when received
weeks later, Amazon did contact us in regards to an A/Z claim opened by the consumer on 9/21/Amazon found us NOT at faulthowever, Amazon reimbursed the consumer (at Amazon's expense) for the full purchase price on 9/22/(and the consumer also kept the extractor they were so unhappy with)Again, a resolution we had already offered on 9/1/

As of today's date, the Amazon listing remains unchangedBlue Sky Bee Supply (regardless of tangent companies they create to sell their items) is still listing their extractor as "Mann Lake" even though it is not a "Mann Lake" extractorThey continue to use the popular brand and image to sell extractors
I have never requested a refund from Amazon or Blue Sky Bee SupplyI received an unsolicited refund from Amazon, which I appreciatedHowever, my complaint with Blue Sky Bee Supply has nothing to do with refunds or return labelsTheir business practices are shady, at best, and their customer service approach is lackingThe disrespect and disdain they continue to show toward a first time customer is disappointing
Their positive reviews are, indeed, impressiveHowever, the lack of negative reviews is not surprising since they had my negative review removed twice
