If you have a fireplace in your home, do yourself a favor and call Blue Sky Chimney Sweeps! During an inspection and cleaning, they found evidence of fire damage and helped walk us through the insurance claim process. We were able to have our flue liner replaced and exterior chimney rebuilt with little more out of pocket than our insurance deductible. The technician who inspected our fireplace was professional and willing to answer all our questions. The owner of Blue Sky was great to work with and handled all of the insurance claim requirements. The crew that completed the work was outstanding. Our fireplace now looks and performs like new. I simply can’t say enough about how pleased we are with Blue Sky Chimney Sweeps!

We had chimney fire sometime in early 2019. We tried to get insurance to cover some of the cost for repairs and did not get much support from the first contractor we called and as a result we got a very small check, $200 for what had been proposed as an $8-10K repair. We saw Blue Sky at the Home and Garden show, they had good ratings on Revdex.com and Google so we decided to try one more time with Blue Sky. Dave, the owner, reviewed our inspection report and photos and personally took our case to insurance as he was convinced we could get better financial support with his evidence and explanation of necessary repairs. He was 100% correct. After his efforts we got almost half the total cost of repairs covered by insurance.
Dave is very knowledgeable, friendly, supportive and willing to take as much time as necessary for the customer to feel comfortable with the processes and procedures involved in chimney repair. All repairs were performed while I was at work and my wife was home with 3 kids. My wife told me every day that the crew was extremely kind, patient, cleanly and checked with her daily to update her on progress and what would be happening the next day.
After repairs we have a clean, functioning chimney and the process was about as painless as I have ever dealt with. This company is great, the owner is first class and his crew is painless to work with.

Blue Sky has been servicing our residential fireplace for years. Recently we had a problem and looked to them for additional service and repairs. Blue Sky staff were amazing! They helped communicate with our homeowner's insurance company and also assisted us in understanding the process. Not only did we get the repair work done in a timely and professional manner, Blue Sky also helped us choose AND PAY FOR new fireplace doors.
We are thrilled and will look to Blue Sky for all future fireplace needs.

Blue Sky is hands down the best home service company I employ! I own a 115 year old house so I seen more than my fair share of shady tech's, plumbers, electricians, etc. etc. Our sweep, Rico is always friendly, thorough, knowledgeable, and most importantly, honest! He always gives me reliable advice about my fireplace and chimney.

Rico is the rule not the exception at Blue Sky. Last year the office staff even helped me to find the original manufacturer of my wood burning fireplace so I could purchase replacement glass. There was no incentive for them to go that extra mile other than rock solid customer service.

Blue Sky Chimney Sweeps matches their stellar customer service with really reasonable fees. I wouldn't use another company for the care of my fireplace. Blue Sky is the gold standard.

Very impressed with Blue Sky all the way through. I was contacted promptly after my request. The work and pricing was explained and I was told who the service person would be. Rico was held up a little because of the weather but he contacted me to let me know. Rico is personable and knowledgeable. He had good answers for all my questions and he knew exactly what he was doing. The work he did was done cleanly, effectively and efficiently. Good experience beginning to end.

My chimney was professionally cleaned and inspected by Blue Sky on 12/20/2018. Both Rico (the technician) and Shirlie (the scheduler) were very helpful throughout the process.

The chimney sweep was on time, friendly, communicated well, and reattached my chimney tubes all for just the inspection and cleaning.

I read reviews of several companies before choosing Blue Sky. Their technician was able to come without an additional charge on a Saturday morning. He was thorough, explained everything and left everything neatly the way he had found it. I had the estimate for the repair work in less than 24 hours, though I didn't expect it until the next business day.

I contacted several chimney service companies and after reading reviews and comparing pricing I choose Blue Sky. In speaking with their sales representative they stated they were two weeks out for service appointments and I had asked to be contacted should there be a cancellation, which in fact did happen and my appointment was scheduled for the next day. Service was scheduled for 12:00 and the gentleman showed on right on time. I was shown what services were done and was shown pictures at the completion of the job. The work done efficiently and done in a very professional manner. I was charged exactly what was told and was asked if I had any questions prior to them leaving. I would recommend Blue Sky and appreciate there professionalism.

I was lied I was told twice that if they let clean my fireplace they would install a electric fireplace .
After they cleaned they told me they did'nt install electric fireplaces lied to me twice. I hope they
injoyed ripping off an elderly lady in her 70's .

Blue Sky has refunded this customer's money. This was a very simple misunderstanding regarding our services that could have easily been handled with a phone call to our offices. We take pride in delivering what we promise and exceeding our home owner expectations.

This guy was brilliant. He came on time, taught us everything about how to properly use the fireplace, explained all he did, showed us the footage of the camera in the chimney, and answered all of our questions. He left things better than he found them: the glass doors never looked so good. Based on his performance, I would highly recommend Blue Sky to anyone.

Total scam company on their inspections!

Claimed we needed a new liner and that we had a chimney fire. Got 2 other professional opinions and the liner is just fine. Turns out, Blue Sky has a reputation for trying to use fear to get customers to pay $8500+ for new liners when they don't need it.

NEVER TRUST THEIR INSPECTIONS! Always get a second and third opinion!

Important: We fully and completely comply with and report on the National Fire Protection Association 211 Fire Codes and Standards. We fully and completely follow and comply with and report on any NFPA 211 fire code violations to our homeowners. We found NFPA 211 fire code violations with your flue liners and reported this to you. Our inspection report to you is factual, objective and in compliance with these standards. We also found damage to the liner system consistent with exposure to a chimney fire incident.
Key Questions: WHO is reporting to you that the flue liners meet the industry standard NFPA 211 standards? Did these companies do a standard and required Chimney Safety Institute of America Level II inspection complete with a camera evaluation of the flue liners? Did they provide you flue liner pictures and provide you with an evaluation of your flue liners against the current NFPA 211 fire codes? Are these companies industry certified by the Chimney Safety Institute of America? Did these companies cite the NFPA 211 code standards in their reports to you? Did you know that any CSIA certified chimney company is bound by a code of ethics to fully report any NFPA 211 violation?
These are key safety questions involving your fireplaces. I strongly recommend that you follow up with whomever provided you with these assessments.
