customer contacted us for the second time regarding a missing shingle. He had called previously to report the damage to his home from the storm and was told his damage had already been inspected and was on the repair list for the community.   The contractor, after reviewing the damages, put them in order of repair by the most serious needs first.  Your customer's repair was only one single-tab shingle. He was never told we were too busy but that the contractor was working as fast as possible. I could not give him an exact date for his repair.   However, he said he wanted his repair done now. He said he did not want to wait for our contractor but wanted to get his own. In order to resolve this issue he was given approval to do this with the understanding that the contractor would be licensed and insured. He was told the HOA would pay for this repair when he presented his contractor's invoice. Yes, I was annoyed, and then angered by his insistent demands tohave his repair completed before other more serious problems.
