We are in receipt of the letter you sent regarding [redacted] ***I do not show any record of having heard from Mr [redacted] previously, but I would like to address his grievances now.First of all, we are so sorry for any inconveniences he may have incurred with his booking process We had notified the third party sites way in advance that they had overbooked us, and asked them to relocate guests as we do not typically have their guests contact information (These overbookings were occurring nationwide by the third party sites--not just here in Boise.) Let me add here that when the guest is relocated to another property if there is a difference in the room price we are responsible for that difference So for instance if the room here was $and the third party relocated them to a property that was $200, we would be responsible for that $difference and the third party would bill us so the guest would not be held responsible for that additional amount We continually contacted the third party sites to ensure that the overbooked rooms were relocated so that all guests would be accommodated way in advance of the event Unfortunately, some of the third parties did not do this in a timely manner--their tardiness in not doing so is beyond our control Clearly it is in our best interest to see that all guests are taken care of, so this was very distressing to us.I know that there was much hype in the media about hotels cancelling reservations and then reselling at exorbitant prices, but I can assure you this did not happen here We took care of every reservation we possibly could that booked with us Our rooms were priced reasonably, and we did not price gouge anyone.We did not receive any monies for Mr***'s reservations, his money was returned by the third party site he booked the reservations through according to his statement. I am gladly to accept the credit already posted on my card in lieu of an exact refund for a double charge - this however results in an "overage of credit" to my benefit If the hotel is OK with this; I am happy to accept the current resolution and to leave everything alone the way they are right now I have nothing further & if Shilo Hotel has nothing further, please close this case ASAP & I will close my account and cancel my card ending in *** which the hotel has on file.Regards, *** ***

I have received complaint ID number ***.? ** *** is claiming that his money had not been refunded, however his personal credit card statement he sent me even reflects that the amount of $was refunded on 8/29/15.? It is the only item on the credit side of his statement.?
