The customer canceled service via a postcard from a solicitor We contact all of customers that we receive postcards regarding this issue.This was on or about 12/17/The cancellation was to take effect per the card on 12/21/However NJ law is that we are given days from receipt of
cancellation which would of been 12/25/Therefore the customer is eligible for one pickup of December 29,2014. The customer may have put a deposit on cart on 7/with *** *** THIS company is no longer in businessTherefore their is no responsibility of Blue Star Carting Inc to issue a refund.Secondly this customer has been issued carts which have a value of $each.The manufacturer of the product will not issue any refund for any carts over years as they are far exceed depreciation. We have spoken to the customer several times regarding the issuesThe customer is not accepting our information that we are providing them withAnd she has hung up on our staff on numerous occasionsWe do not have any knowledge of the accusation of bad mouthing anyoneWe have stated facts to the customers that are canceling and the Attorney General Office of the State of New Jersey is conducting an investigation into the marketing strategy and tariff rates, pricing of another company. After reviewing this account according to the customer accusations the refund is incorrectThe account should have a balance due according to $credit for unused service on 12/29/and the $12.00 sanitization fee ,which indicated $owed .However WE have issued a refund already given the customer a credit for pickups which actually should of been one pickup not completed per our information givenThe customer believes that they are entitled to something that they are notTherefore this file has been closed. The owner was out of the state for approximately weeksThe owner did return the call to the customer and the customer was not satisfied with response and hung up on the ownerThis complaint is full of miss quotes and incorrect information. Blue Star Carting Inc has been in business for years and we are privately owned and operated locally within Somerset CountyWe are in a public utility business and we follow the rules from the State of New Jersey for collection of refuse

I am rejecting this response because:
1- They have NEVER contacted me The owner nor has anyone from Blue Star ever returned any of my phones calls nor have I ever once hung up on them2- I reached out to them around dec to inquire about the cancellation since I had not heard from them....they did not call me or attempt to call me or contact me in any way to acknowledge the cancellation.3- I have received my original garbage can and one replacement due to their truck dropping and cracking my can I did not damage, abuse or destoy my can We were customers for years. 4- The fact that they changed cart supply companies is of no consequence to me and there was never any notification that we would not get our deposit back or thatthe terms had been changed.5- If I knew I was not getting my deposit back, then why on earth would I even bother to return the cartso I could pay a $sanitation charge ?6- I spoke to the owner last week...who by the way, never identified herself as such Was I a bit upset...yesof course, it was my 8th or 9th phone call to them and frustrated that theynever bothered to try and contact me Did I hang up ..no I said, okay send me the check I did not know it was going to be for $2.20.I think they are being sore losers here because many of my neighbors have changed to a new carrier for less money (and the can cost $15....) I would like to tell all the rest of my neighborshow we are being treatedand maybe they'll lose a few more All for under $
