Review: My family had a emergency situation. My father had a stroke in Georgia on the golf course. My sister and I were in LA and needed to get to him as fast as possible. Blue Star committed to us that they would get us off the ground and on our way in 2-3 hours. With that commitment we signed a contract. Needless to say after a dozen or more phone calls with endless lies the plane didn't show up until over 10 hours later. We called them to tell them that we were going to take the commercial flight we booked because it now was going to get us there before the private jet and they told us the plane was waiting for us to get to [redacted] airport. Needless to say the plane wasn't there. They lied!!!!!!!!! It came a few hours later and they caused us to miss our commercial flight. I have called them numerous times to settle and come to a fair agreement. They always say they will get back to me and never do!!!!!!! I have never done business with a company like this!!!!!!!Desired Settlement: To pay for a first class commercial ticket instead of a jet service that didn't fulfill

Review: We had a major family medical emergency on the east coast so we called Blue Star Jets. Time was of the essence. They stated they would find a plane in 3 1/2 hours by 2pm on a Friday. We signed their paperwork based on this agreement. After all paperwork was signed they kept changing the flight times on us. We then proceeded to book a commercial flight and [redacted] told us he would have us there way before the commercial flight would. We agreed due to this being a life and death situation. We just had to get there. When [redacted] told us we wouldn't leave until 10 pm (8 hours after our call) I told him we were going commercial on the 10:30 pm flight. He said that would be a problem because he had our American Express number and signed contract stating we were leaving at 10 pm. I told him I didn't have a problem calling American Express to fight it. He guaranteed we'd be there long before out connecting commercial flight. This turned out to be false. He told us we were now leaving at 10:30 at the absolute latest. We arrived at Signature private airport at 10 pm. The folks there told us the plane wouldn't be in for at least another hour. I called [redacted] and he assured me they were wrong. At 10:30 pm I called [redacted] again and he said "the airplane has been on the ground for 10 minutes". I could literally hear the pilot calling in saying they hoped to land around 11:15. If this isn't human error what is? [redacted] said they were wrong. The plane finally landed around 11:30 pm and began their turn around. They took off at 12:12 am and landed at the same time as the commercial flight. This was not how I assumed Blue Star Jets did their business. They were [redacted] who lead us along to keep the sale. They took advantage of a family in distress that had to get to their father that was in ICU. It not only cost $28,218.75 but a lot of added unnecessary stress. Not only did we have a horrible experience with this company filled with lies they also processed an unauthorized charge on my credit card. The charge was supposed to be split with my sister and they charged my credit card in full the total amount. They stated that there were 4 passengers on the plane when there were 2 and a 2 month old baby. We have made numerous attempts to get in contact with the owner of the company to reach an agreement and have had no response.Desired Settlement: I had a credit of $5000 with this company. I have stated thru amex that they can keep the credit and in addition to that we are willing to pay them the price of 2 roundtrip tickets that we would have paid to go commercial.
