Blue Steel Driving School Reviews (2)

Review: I purchased a voucher from Living Social for my son to attend this driving school. The voucher included the 5hr class, 3 lessons and the car for the road test. When I attempted to schedule my son's first lesson I got nothing but the run around. When I finally reached someone she stated she was the owners sister and she added a fourth lesson for my son because of the hassle. She even scheduled all four lessons on the phone with me that same day. My son did three lessons and on the day for the fourth lesson he called the instructor Avis to confirm. The instructor told him he needed to call the school this was on 5/**/13. My son called the school and got no answer, I called the school and left a message and got no response. We have been trying to contact the school since 5/**/13 and to no avail. This is HORRIBLE customer service. Please help meDesired Settlement: I would like my son to receive what I paid for an also what I was promised.

We contacted the customer and set up their last lesson for June **, 2013 at 8:45 am with Instructor [redacted].

Review: I purchased a Groupon with this business. I paid for three driving lessons, one 5 hour driving class and a road test for $99. They only provided me with one driving lesson and a 5 Hour driving course. I had made an appointment with them earlier this month for my second full lesson. When I arrived for my lesson, they told me I couldn't take it unless I paid for it because I had already taken four lessons. They had a document that listed when I took these "supposed" lessons. The dates were for each time I had made an appointment with them. However, three of them were for dates I had made an appointment for, but were rescheduled. One of them was a lesson that was cut in short because their car had stopped working. The woman I spoke to said the driver wrote in the time we left and came back for each lesson. When I asked to speak to the driver, she refused and said he wouldn't remember me. I only completed one full driving lesson with this business. Before this even happened, they were very difficult to get in contact with. They are dishonest and are trying to take my money. I'm not sure if they're just unorganized or if they're trying to scam people.

Response:

I am sorry to hear of this complaint from [redacted]. We keep a file for all of our students. [redacted] file states that she received her 5 hr certification as well as 4 driving lessons instead if 3 driving lessons. She received 4 driving lessons instead of 4 because the car did in fact have technical difficulties during 1 of her driving lessons. So she received an extra driving lesson. She did driving lessons on April **, April **, May *, and May **, 2013. She is still owed the car for the roadtest and her appointment which we will honor. We have serviced many students that would state that they were happy with our services and that we honored what they paid for. I apologize that Ms Richards does not feel the same way.
