Review: Blue Steel Security Inc provides training to Security Officers, I did the 8 hour Annual Training with this company in either 2011 or 2012 and 2013. This company collected its fees in cash the same day even before we finished the training. Blue Steel is then supposed to report this information to the Divison of Criminal Justice Services and the Department of State. In June 2013, I went to their Office and explained to them that I have come to learn that I was not being hired as a Security Officer because they had not informed the Department of State that I had completed the required 8 hour Annual training with them, as a result when I apply for jobs with Security Agencies and they check the DOS records, they cannot find record of my training requirements. The Security Agency will not hire me even if I have the certificate because the information is not registered with the state. I went to Blue Steel Office three times in the month of June 2013. They said that they were going to do it. Each time I went there the staff had bad attitudes and seems very disorganized, they could not find records of receipts nor record that they had forward notification to the DOS. Even after I gave them the information, it was not until the 3rd time that the Lady in charge of the office told me that they had send the information to DOS. Now two weeks ago, I send my application to renew my registration as a Security Officer and the DOS wrote me saying that they cannot renew my license because neither the DOS nor the DCJS have any record of my having completed the 8 hour Annual training. Even if I fax a copy of the certificates the DOS will not accept it because Blue Steel has to get it done. Today Oct [redacted], I went to the Office to cpmplain about the issue because I am upset by the matter. I ask the young lady who is the customer service their for [redacted], the School Directors phone number, she said that she is not allowed to give out the number. I then raise my voice but still in a respectable manner because I am very upset with this company. They collect their pay and pay their bills but I am not allowed to make a living because of their laziness and negligence. It also seems that they do not want customers to complain either because they lady proceeded to call the cop on me for no reason. I the explained to the cop the situation and he advised me to report the matter to the Revdex.com and take it to court to resolve the matter. Thus the reason for this complain today.Desired Settlement: The least Blue Steel Security Inc can do is to make sure that they fulfill their obligations by making sure that they send a report to the DOS and DCJS that I had completed the 8 hour Annual Certificate training with them for the two years.. They also need to ensure that they do so not only for myself but for every persons who does training with them because when I went there in June I also met people on two occassions complaining that Blue Steel did not forward the information to the Department of State (DOS).

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Blue Steel Security Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Bluesteel called and left a message on my phone for me. I returned the call and spoke with [redacted], I believe that is the name of the elder lady who manages the office. She told me that she can do no further but gave me this # [redacted] at the Justice Dept to settle the matter. She already knows that I cannot contact these agents on my own to resolve the matter so she was not being honest with me. I tried contacting them anyway and left a message several times but did not get a response. At this time, getting a refund from Bluesteel is not the solution to the problem. They need to report the two years training to Department of State so that I get my security license renewed. If the refund me, it means that I will have to sit out two 8 hours training at another training school and may again face this same problem. There should be some government agency to ensure that these schools fulfill their service agreement to consumers. I hope that there is some way you can help me resolve this matter.
