This is a letter in response to the complaint: I did a home inspection for a client on the gentleman's house during the home inspection I dented the top of his dryer. I contacted a local businessman the details and type of appliances and had him set up a time to go and look at the dryer to repair,...

he come back with an estimate of around $250 to repair the dryer. The dent did not stop the dryer from running,I contacted the client the buyers,  they informed me that the washer and dryer was going to be sold with the home and when they bought the house and they didn't care about the dent. I didn't go any further with it assuming that the deal is still going through. Later I found out the deal did not go through and the seller  the complaint was using a copy of my home inspection report as a tool to help sell his home. This home inspection report is worth $275 for which he paid nothing for nor intended to. In response to his complaint when he called me( I was in a meeting) I do not talk on my phone or communicate with people on my phone when I do my home inspections, my clients pay for my undivided attention. This comment is already predetermined on my phone and is something I cannot change I always get back with people afterwards but many times was left no message. I felt as if he was trying to get money out of me to purchase his own dryer in a new home. If I've been in the wrong in this scenario I'll be more than glad to pay for the repair of the dryer but my personal opinion with him using my report which was worth more than the dryer and his not asking my permission to do it nor trying to pay me for it I felt like it was a break even. If it is upon your judgement that I should still pay for this I will do it gladly to make sure I have a good credit with the Revdex.com.
