Picked up from [redacted] Victoria at 10:pm AugThinking it was safer to take a cab than driv hom after drinking I’d now say any other mode of transportation would have been betterThere were ofusOne of the passengers in the back wasn’t fully inside yet plus the back door was completely openYet the driver hit pedal to the metal, take my offWe had to holler to stopAt ourf stinstion, the driver net apologizedAnd we still tipped him Next time I’m deciding over driving home intoxicated or absolutely not bluebirdWorse cperience The *** called a cab for usI’ll be sure to let them know so perhaps they’ll use a different service in the future
After being abandoned by the company on July at pm, promised a cab but no cab ever arrived, and having to deal with a uncaring woman at their dispatch - I contacted the manager, *** ***I talked to him today and basically, he blew me off, refused to accept any responsibility and even tried to point the finger at me for complaining!
On Tuesday, Aug 28, we were in Victoria, our Uncle had just passed away and we needed to move his vanIt overheated so we called a towAs the van was loaded, I called Bluebird Cabs*** was completing payment and the cab arrivedI loaded a couple items in the trunk and the cabbie was fidgetingI asked if there was a problemHe said yes, you are taking too longI said well the other box is too heavy and he stated well, just get your things out of the carI am leaving I said it would just be a moment while the bill is paid and the cabbie said no, not waitingSo I took my stuff out*** then walked over as the cab left! The driver was very rudeHe did not even offer to start the meter he just wanted to leaveHis wait would have been less than minutes and as he drove away I got a message on my cel that the car was outsideSpeaking to the managerThere were no apologiesHe basically blamed usI decided it was faster to just get a cab while on the phoneThe next cabbie would not back the or so car lengths up to our heavy boxes

I waited for a cab to arrive for minutes I receive a call from them, I answer the call ,say hello and then get hung up onI immediately call back and asked why I received a call from themThe operator told me that I received a courtesy call to ensure that I was indeed waiting stillShe then proceeds to tell me that my cab has been cancelled because I didn't answer their courtesy call, she also said that a supervisor would have to sign off on the trip cancellation, so I asked if I could speak to her to rectify this issueThe supervisor proceeds to tell me that since I didn't answer the call ( which I did, and was hung up on) my trip had been cancelled and it would be another 30-minutes before another cab would be able to service this call
After my ride I looked at my receipt and found that the driver overcharged me for the wait feeHe did not wait for me, in fact I was at the curbside waiting for himI was down their waiting for a few minutes
