Bluepoint Pools Construction Reviews (%countItem)

Blue point pools was hired December 2018 to complete my backyard pool. The completion date was estimated to be April 1st, however the pool was not completed until May 3rd. We incurred some setbacks due to the rain but also due to ***( the owner) being unavailable. There were several week to 2 weeks time frames where the weather was good but no work was being done on the pool. His company also ordered the wrong pool cover so that was another 3 week or so delay. The pool was finally ready to use May 3rd, however, I was never given instructions on how to use the pool. There is an app that I had to download in order to use the pool. Despite several phone calls, emails and texts messages, *** did not respond until over a month later and finally on June 13th, I was given the app information in order to operate the pool. Very dissatisfying! There are remaining items that need to be repaired around the pool, including repairing grass, concrete and planting areas that were destroyed in the process of completing the pool. *** has agreed to repair these items however, I am still waiting for this and for him to schedule our final city inspection. He has promised on several occasions to have the grass repaired/replaced & other items repaired as well as schedule for inspection, but to date, they have been empty promises. The pool has been completed for almost 3 months now and we are STILL waiting! In the meantime, his negligence is causing safety issues for my children and my backyard looks a mess. I don’t want any HOA fees due to the condition of my backyard or injuries due to debris in my yard.

To whom it may concern:*** has been a difficult customer to work with for myself and other contractors that have abodoned her job. Even after being warned to not work with her, I gave her the benefit of the dought and started her pool project. She complained about delays that were out of my control. There were also delays caused by her kicking out subcontractors on multiple times, because she wanted them to start working at 11am. In order to have consistant progress in the construction industry, work needs to start as early as possible. The pool cover as she mentioned was the biggest delay and out of my control since it was a custom cover being manufactured by a 3rd party. After the contract was signed, it took the trust fund a year to approve and release funds, we accomodated her project by moving and delaying other projects, working weekends, and she still complained about delays. She has made a huge huge issue over a small area of grass she would like to be repaired. The original agreement was the pool would be constructed first. Then, the landscaping would go in after, that way we would not damage any grass. Since, the trust fund wasn't able to release funds to us, she decided to install the landscaping before the pool. After we finsihed her pool project, I was trying to be nice and agreed that I would repair the grass. This was not on the contract. I kept my word and sent out a lanscaper out on a Sunday he was ready to repair the grass with materials on hand. He was then met by *** who asked him to leave because it was too early for her. Once again she delayed progress. I had to pay him since he did his job by showing up and attempted to repair the grass, and I also had to pay the material wasted. I did a second attempt to repair the grass, I sent out a second landscaping company. The contractor arrived at ***' home to measure the area in order to buy the material and repair the following day. I called him multiple times and he never answered. He finally answered and stated he was met by *** and after speaking with her, he decided not to do the job. He said she was demanding, rude, and seemed difficult to work with. He stated that she would never be happy with any work and would make him come repair things over and over. To him it was not worth the money, to get a bad review or deal with her. She also complained about a concrete repair. I have already explained multiple times to her that the concrete was imposible to match exactly becuase the mix can never be exactly the same, but it would lighten up. She has unrealistic expectations. At this point, the final payment is still outstanding, the final inspection passed, she was instructed on how to use the equipment, and the warranty is not valid until full payment is recieved. She has harrased me with phone calls with threats and issues that had nothing to do with the pool project, she has harrased through text, yelp, and through social media, I can not tolerate her harassment and have emailed her and the trust fund rep that I can no longer deal with her and have blocked her. Her pool project is complete at this time, she is able to use her pool, and it came out beautiful!! I think it is unreasonable to leave negative yelp reviews, contact the Revdex.com, harrase me, and try to jepordize my family owned business and liveiwood over a small grass repair. I have tried my best to repair the grass, I can not waste any more time or energy trying to find someone who is willing to work with her. I did not abondoned her job, steal money, provide horrible workmanship, or commit fraud for her to spend this much energy tring to attack my company. We are not a landscaping company, I am a pool builder. We built her a beautiful pool, with custom details, and the grass is the issue for her? Not once has she mentioned how great her pool came out, or shown appreciation for workers working weekends to accomodate her project. I am working with her trust fund rep to find a fair solution with the final payment that is still due to move forward from this situation. The trust fund rep has instructed me not to respond or deal with with her, and only deal with with him dirrectly. Any question you may have please contact me directly at ***Thank you

You can clearly see in her pictures some of the sod that was wasted and left by the initilal landscaper to prove my point. The contract is not with ***, I am in contract with Wells Fargo, N.A, as trustee of the *** Special Needs Trust. I am currently working with the trust fund representative to come to a fair resoluton since the final payment is still due. I was instructed by him not to deal with *** as I stated before. Thank you!
