Review: Hired [redacted] who owns Blueprint Contracting of NY located in Yonkers, NY to renovate my bathroom. We agreed on a price and signed a contract. The agreement was that the bathroom would be complete in 12 days. Work was to start Feb [redacted], 2014. I returned to my apt (which is a one bedroom/one bath coop) to a complete mess. [redacted]ny [redacted] had basically gutted the bathroom and did not come back. He also had thrown all of the garbage from the bathroom in the middle of my living room, had not protected other areas of my home from the dust and contamination from gutting the bathroom ruined my $2000 living room carpet and hard wood floors. He basically gutted my bathroom and did nothing else. When I confronted him on the evening of Feb **, 2014, he told me a list of excuses as to why he was not close completion. He blamed the weather, and the Coop itself. Every day after I would call [redacted]ny for an update and he would say he would be done in a week. He would rarely show up though. On March **,2014 I told [redacted] that he is no longer going to be stringing me along and that he was Fired. Today is March [redacted] and I still am not able to live in my home. Being that there is no working toilet or shower, I had no choice but to have another contractor to finish the job AND remove all the debris. The debris weight amounted to 2,182lb when weighed at the Yonkers dump. I am a single mother of a 5 year old child. I have had to move into My mother's home in Nyack NY during these past 5 weeks and 4 days. This guy is a scam artist. he has 2 addresses. The one I have on business page and the other on the contract whichj is listed as[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like a refund PLUS compensation for the payment of a new contractor to finish the job, The cost of a new carpet, the cost gas and toll for of having to travel from my mothers home in Nyack,NY to Yonkers everyday to get my daughter to Pre-K then to go back to work in Sleepy hollow then reverse the trip in the evening. the cost of the carpet that he ruined and for the garbage removal that I had to bring to the county dump.
