adding an egress window. These were the major changes—dozens of minor ones were also added to the scope of the project. To be clear, if anyone took advantage of the situation, it was [redacted]! I ([redacted]) had daily conversations with him, which generally lead to a new change order/additional work. If any communications was lacking, it was on him. He bhed and moaned about the price of the original project and the price of every extra he requested. There was only one permit pulled as we agreed from the start. If he wants another permit pulled, he needs to pay us for it first. Worth noting is that Blueprint agreed to finance half of his project for 18 months completely interest free! It is this final payment the he is desperately attempting to avoid by crying about a minor crack in the wall that we have up to 2 years to repair per the contract. Since he brought up the contract (which totaled and he has only paid $65000 NOT $80000), we should note that he is in breach of it by not paying this final payment. Also noteworthy is that he bounced at least 4 checks and was late with several monthly payments to Blueprint. Additionally, the project ran on for months because he refused to pay for extras he requested, so Blueprint was forced to hire a lawyer. In closing, Blueprint has over 500 satisfied customers in Stapleton alone. [redacted] is a spoiled, entitled, manipulative and egotistical person. He has a gorgeous finished basement at an extremely fair price. The final monthly installment is currently over a month late…I’m wondering if he would refuse to pay his rent if his ice-maker went out?
