To whom this may concerns, This letter is in response to allegations brought on by Mr. [redacted] to the Revdex.com ( ID# [redacted]) Mr. [redacted] did in fact bring his vehicle ( 2000 BMW 540i) in for repair on June 1st following a free diagnosis prior to that. Mr. [redacted] had not used our...

repair facility prior to that and to start a good business relationship and to help him get his car through state inspection we agreed to let him make payments on the labor if he paid for the parts on the initial repairs, it is our policy that any parts over $500 must be paid upfront and the labor when the vehicle is picked up. Mr. [redacted] was in fact informed throughout the repairs verbally and through text messages with myself ( John) and our technicians and he would stop in frequently to check status. All his initial concerns were addressed and repaired, while diagnosing his vanos ( variable timing) faults we concluded that a timing chain guide must be broken and that the engine had to be disassembled for further diagnostics. Mr. [redacted] was informed and authorized the repairs in person. Tear down confirmed that the timing chain guide was in fact broken and was shown to MR. [redacted] at which point he authorized further repairs. During the final days of the repairs he asked for more financial assistance at which point I let him know that we're not a financial institution but a Automotive repair facility and that helping him make payments on $400 in labor was different than $2500 in repairs that were already heavily discounted from a average retail cost of close to $4000,-. after going back and forth I agreed to let him make payments on half of his total amount due if he was able to pay half . He agreed but for the following two weeks Mr. [redacted] missed three deadlines to make that initial payment and consequently I lost faith in his ability to make the promised payments in good faith. I informed him that that he could make the payments but that I would need to keep the car as collateral and that it would be delivered to him without storage charges once he was paid in full. Mr. [redacted]’s response was ;"keep the car". Prior to this letter I have not seen or heard from Mr [redacted] since that day and the car is in our storage facility. It is our policy that no vehicle is delivered without payment in full and that storage charges of $45,- per day are charged for vehicles not picked up within 3 days of completion, both policies are posted so. I Regret the outcome of the situation but I’m not able pay for his repairs. Furthermore I would like to note that I have three witnesses that will verify that Mr. [redacted] was in fact completely aware of the repairs and had authorized them as well as text msg transcripts. As a final attempt to resolve the matter, I would consider releasing the car to Mr. [redacted] if his total amount due ( $2529,-) was paid in full by Sept 2nd 2016 after which the vehicle will be parted out and salvaged.
