Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2016/03/02) */
Unfortunately the customer would not allow us to return to their home and retest the water in order to provide him with the results that he desired. We have agreed to credit him back everything that he paid for the check up and he seemed...

satisfied with that.
Thank You

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 8, 2016/03/07) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I accept the response ( return of service fee -$39.95-) instead of having them return to provide any services, as I have had water tested a couple times/places for hardness/ rust levels and I re-calibrated regeneration per my owners manual.

[redacted] is the landlord of the house where the Culligan Conditioner Rental is installed.
Problem: The conditioner ran water to the drain for over 160 days or almost FIVE MONTHS before Culligan was notified of the problem. Once we were...

notified we had a technician to the home and fixed the problem within 72 hours. The rental agreement Mr [redacted] signed states that it is the responsibility of the homeowner to notify Culligan should a problem occur and that Culligan cannot be responsible for incidental damages. This is a good example of why Culligan cannot be responsible for incidental damages when the homeowner/Renter was clearly negligent in notifying Culligan. It would NOT be possible to live in the house without hearing water rushing to the drain. It would sound like someone had turned on an outside faucet and let it run non stop for FIVE months. Mr. [redacted]'s renter was clearly negligent in not taking action sooner. We have offered to compensate Mr [redacted] for 10 days of water usage which would have been more than enough time for anyone living in the home to have noticed a problem.
