Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2014/08/08) */
This problem has been rectified with the client. Since the initial complaint on 7/21/2014 the client has contracted Parliament Builders Inc. to complete three other projects in her home. There have been no other complaints since. Should you have...

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2014/08/11) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Again as I have stated and asked before, I want to be CERTAIN that all that I owe Parliament is the final contract amount of $2062.00 once the job is done. I have been paying for all additional work (flooring, electrical, painting) as it is being done and all checks that I wrote have cleared my account except the last one to paint the bathroom. The additional jobs that I had them due were to paint the kitchen and redo floor, paint bathroom, and paint computer room because I assumed the salesperson had allotted for and it turned out not to be so, so I could not be left with undone floors and walls with patches (they need to train their sales people better or send an actual site foreman to help quote and determine jobs). I am STILL waiting for someone at Parliament to tell me that the end contract amount is all that I owe. I have asked the site foreman ([redacted])the question several times and was told "yes, because I am paying for all other work as it is done. I anticipate that they will be completely finished (Thank You) within these next 2 weeks if their guys work with the same determination that they showed AFTER I filed my complaint. I NEED someone from Pzrliament to SOUNDLY say "Yes, all that is owed is final contract amount" because if they spring any "surprises" at final look-over I will be under the impression still that I do not owe anything extra and I don't want a can of worms opened upon completion. Because no one from Parliament will call me with an answer, I feel VERY skeptical and NERVOUS. I am on a tight budget with this MASSIVE project and have allotted for what is left on contract and I am SURE they do not want me to come up short because I have not been told any different. To date I have paid Parliament $10,228.20 with a balance due (here lies the question) of ONLY $2,062.00. This is a VAST amount of money to me and I don't have it to "throw around" or to have any "what if's and oh, we forgot to tell you this". I TRULY and REALLY need a solid answer because as I stated I believe they should only be this and next week away from completion and NO SURPRISES!! So, my complaint concerning the finances has NOT been settled to my satisfaction (I should know this information NOW). The skill in the work and repairs they have done has never been an issue. It was and still is the time being taken to complete and the FINANCES. I need an answer so everyone walks away happy, if they spring some unknown number on me, it will be VERY likely that it may not be available because I have not been given the chance to budget for it. Thank you Revdex.com for your support during this dilemma. As far as I am concerned, my questions still remain unanswered.
