I am rejecting this response because: Business is not accurate in there response, my reason for being unable to make payment didn't change and I made contact with them to let them know I was waiting on *** to deliver insurance check and that I would be making the payment by the end of the day depending on bank placing hold on any of the funds at which time the business falsely accused me of reconnecting the service which I told them I knew nothing about and told them I'm not home during the day and sometimes don't return until 10-11pm and don't go out to the back of my home but that I would check things out when I returned home that day and if something was hooked up I would find out who connected and remove itWhen ending conversation I was under impression they were going to give me time to go home and look and then when I called later that day after getting insurance check I was informed they removed tanksI never stated I wasn't going to pay remaining balance of billAlso they are failing to accept the actions of their employee and his statement of my family's heath and well being isn't of his concern. *** *** bounced a check with us for the amount of $ We sent him a letter notifying him on January 23rd, Before paying for the bad check, he requested another delivery, promising payment for the delivery that day, and he will clear up the bad check at a future date (he
promised January 31st)He called to pay on January 31st, but did not pay in full, which he had originally promised He paid $240, leaving an outstanding balance of $ He then changed his promise, assuring us he would pay the rest on Febrary 9th, stating that his wife would get paid and he can then pay us.We called him on February 10th, the day after he promised to pay, and he was still unable pay, stating that a bank messed up his check/payment and he was waiting on a call back from them to release money We were then forced to disconnect his service by removing the regulator, as he has not yet paid his bad check in full, has now broken two promises, and his excuses were changing each time we spoke with him He was notified in advance that this would happen.Our service tech was near him on the 13th, stopped by, and confirmed service was still disconnected.On the 17th a driver was at a neighboring location and stopped by to check on the account The customer apparently purchased or borrowed a regulator and pigtail from somewhere and had reconnected our tanks without notifying us or making any payment At this point we feel he is stealing gas He is using gas which is unpaid and he has still not paid on the bad check.We called him and he made another excuse, saying he's waiting on an insurance check for a totaled vehicle and will then be able to pay us He, again, could not give us a firm date.We then picked up our tanks as he has now tampered with our equipment and has still not paid his returned/bounced check He did call our office making more excuses An employee did hang up on him after *** began cursing.We no longer want to do business with this customer The recovered gas left in the tanks will cover only part of his bad check, but not all of it It does not appear we will be paid in full by this former customer An outstanding balance remains on the account

Everything in my previous response is correct The customer made multiple promises and failed to deliver on all of them We were told three different stories and he promised to pay in full on multiple dates We have yet to receive full payment It has been a month since we notified him of his bounced check.To address his concern with his family, our manager was expressing to him that our business is to sell him gas and for him to pay us for it I'm not familiar with what is going on in his personal life That is not my business We maintain a professional attitude and do not let personal politics cloud our judgement We actually made concessions for him, breaking our policies, allowing a delivery of gas BEFORE he paid for his bad check That is not something we normally do.If the customer was truly concerned, his family's safety was put at risk from a random person reconnecting our gas tanks to his house without our knowledge Any gas work should be done by a qualified technician, including performing a NFPA mandated Gas Check But we have no idea who was tampering with our equipment The customer claims he also has no idea Gas work done by a random person is dangerous for him and for his neighbors.Because of payment concerns, a bounced check, a continued outstanding bill, and the customer (or someone) having tampered with our equipment, we no longer feel comfortable doing business with John and encourage he find another propane provider There are many options in the area
