unit. His father discussed it with [redacted] and called us to tell us he wanted a reman. Then [redacted] called on 7/23 and spoke directly with Mr. [redacted]. He declined the reman, but he and Mr. [redacted] agreed to repair his core for $1,000.00. We proceeded to complete the job and called to let him know it was ready on 7/27. He said he would be in to pick it up on July 31st and confirmed that we had re-used his old case, which he was happy about. Between 7/31 and 8/10 he was called three times by [redacted] and immediately hung up the phone when [redacted] identified himself. When [redacted] was able to finally get in touch with him on 8/10, he said he could not afford it and just wanted his core back. I then immediately called him and spoke to him directly and informed him his core is now repaired and the $1000.00 will be required. I also informed him that cores were getting hard to find for that model and were approximately $450.00 if he now just wanted to buy a core. I went further to try and assist [redacted] and offered to help with a payment plan. He then hung up on me. I called the caller ID number right back and told him we must have gotten disconnected, I further informed him of the posted policy of a storage charge of $15/day starting 3 days after notification and that the property reverts to us to resell in 30 days as per that policy. He said he would try and figure something out.

When I spoke with [redacted] personally on the phone, I CONFIRMED everything from our notes regarding the events and conversations which is all in my statement.
[redacted] has no other option at this point but to pay for the rebuilt transmission plus storage from July 27th (the date of notice it was ready - when he said he'd be here that Friday) or buy a core from somewhere else.
We will accept cash only from [redacted]
