Customer stated he was "recently-disappointed" and the purchase from last year was *** *** ***The customer waited 7+ months to claim a product did not work, he is welcome to open a PayPal dispute (his form of payment) if he wishes to get a refund, there are no returns for an item from last year or store credit that has been used/opened

The age of the product is irrelevant, as the product itself is inherently faulty and does not (and never would have, for any purchaser) functioned as advertised. Following is text from my original email to Adafruit describing this issue: "After doing a ton of online research I found that basically everyone that has ever tried using one of these chips has had the same _exact_ problem! Why would you sell a chip like that and not at least mention that!"Instead of providing evidence that this is not the case (which I would be open to if it is indeed available), they simply responded that the return date has passedThere _is_ evidence that the device, as manufactured, is faulty (i.ecan never stay connected to a wifi connection for more than - hours before requiring a manual reset), however if Adafruit can provide evidence that this is not the case and that there was just something wrong with my specific device, due to misuse, etc., I would be happy to drop this complaint(and indeed, if this had been provided in their initial reply to my email this Revdex.com complaint would never have been filed)As it currently stands, however, it appears that Adafruit has no problem with having misrepresented and sold an inherently faulty product to many customersI believe Adafruit is in fact an excellent company, and I'm surprised by this behavior, and hope it is not the case

Customer claimed an item was missing from package, the barcoded items were scanned in and were in the package weight matches the product being included, however the the customer continued to claim it was not included so we refunded the full amount of the product they claimed was missing, $5.00 ...
