Hello There, I am writing in response of a complaint filed towards me and the business. After reading the letter, I would like to share what happened on our end. To clarify this event was not a charity, the event was hosted in a local catering hall and we as the vendors paid for the ladies... to come out to the catering hall; the event was hosted by the radio station (96.3 iheart media). As Samantha should know, she stated that her brother's girlfriend works for the radio station. Each vendor had a table setup with items or services for their business, Blush had raffles and lash applications. The raffles consisted of 2 Major Winning (Microdermfacial $110.0 and Lash Extensions $175.00) Samantha had won the microdermfacial $110.00 which she didn't have to pay for anything, during her service we examine the skin and if we feel that the skin needs better products we will recommend the ones we carry at our store. Its up to the client whether or not to purchase the products recommended. As a place that has quality products and highly educated staff members are prices are as stated. At the time when we booked her appoitment we asked for her cc information to hold her appoitnment as this is policy to collect their information, nothing is charge at the time to hold their appt but we do tell them that if they can not come to please call us as we do have a 24 hour cancellation policy, we have our policy on brochures and on our website at the bottom of all our website pages. When she came in she purchased the products and we rung her out using the card on file which she knew we had because she gave us the information prior. I have the email stating that she needed to cancel her and her mother's appt due to the fact that they were going away for the holiday, in her email she states time and who the appts were for. I don't understand how she claims that she didnt book the appt and yet emailed to cancel an appt she never made. Our policy is very clear, $50 fee for a no show no call or cancelling after. I called her and left her a voicemail letting her know that we were charging her the fee for both appts and asked her to call us with ny questions or concerns. If she felt that there was an error with the appt that she claims she never made then she should've called us asking why was there an appt scheduled? rather than canceling. We do not charge anyone that shouldn't be charged, we as a business have policies and clients should respect them. As a courtesy I said I would credit the amount when she came in to redeem her service but clearly she wont be. I as a business owner only have the best interests for my clients and wouldn't cheat any one out of anything, but there are policies in place to protect us from last min cancellations. Blush really only has the clients best interest at heart, unfortunately there will always be clients that will lie because they are upset at themselves and have to take it out on others. Paper trail always helps.
