My operations manager rebutted the first complaint from Ms. [redacted].      I thought it would be best to respond directly as the owner. Let me explain the process of conducting mold air quality test or air mold sampling as required by EPA guidelines. We are required to take a control sample (which is outside) with a indoor sample. Because mold is part of our ecosystem we must test outdoors to compare if there's inside growth over what's in its outdoor environment. Everyone's outdoor environment is different depending on 1. where they live, 2. what season (summer, spring, fall or winter) 3. when the last time it rained, humidity 4. how many tress are around the property etc.  You can contact any mold inspection company to ask the procedure for conducting air test and they will tell you, they must take two samples. One inside and One outside, which is called the control. Our air mold test pricing starts with two samples. There's no one air test! only two or more.  This is a national way of conducting air for mold inside any property.      Never would we ever ever ever tell a client that we would test every room for the price we quoted Ms [redacted]. I'm sorry if our company disappointed her but she's simply not satisfied with the results from the lab (which we don't control) and threaten to give us a bad review if she didn't receive a full refund. We felt like that was blackmail.  We conduct 100's of mold inspections every week and never been accused and attached like this.  Now Ms [redacted] is accusing all of our Yelp community user's of being paid for giving reviews. If that's so wouldn't we have given her a refund.      Universal Inspect LLC[redacted], Owner / Certified Master Inspector. o.###-###-####f.888.411.0980MoldChex.comUniversalinspect.comSewerlin... Unfortunately, what you told me over the phone is completely different than what you state in your email below. I gave you an opportunity to make good on my dissatisfaction by asking for a refund. I did not blackmail or threaten. To say this about me says a lot about you. I gave you an opportunity to make good on my dissatisfaction. When I did not hear back from you, I told you that I was going to post a review. As an owner of a business, you should have at least called me (as a courtesy to discuss). It is my right to voice my opinion when I did not hear back from you or anyone at your business and the public should be aware of what I experienced so they know what to expect when they don't receive what they pay for.
By the way, we are discussing customer dissatisfaction, not the mold process which seems to take up most of your email below. You should always treat customers with respect and understanding, that's how businesses survive in this day and age.
Perhaps a course in etiquette is what your business needs. I am sure the Revdex.com is not interested in the mold process.
Also, if you went through great detail discussing the mold process, why didn't you go over this with me over the phone.

Thank you for reaching out to you about this important matter.   We received a call from Mrs. [redacted] for us to go out and do a Mold Inspection on her property on July 27th, 2017 @ 1pm. Client was not present at the time of the inspection however her son [redacted] was. I...

personally called Mrs. [redacted] the following day to collect payment. I verbally informed her that there was a 4% merchant fee if she paid with a Credit Card/ATM card. She didn't want to pay that and asked if she can mail us a check and I said yes so at that point I told her we would send the samples to the lab as soon as the check was received and she was ok with that.   She called me back 10 minutes later and said she changed her mind and she would pay with her Credit Card/ATM. I actually informed her that I was going to have an inspector in her area on Sunday of that same week and he could stop by and pick up a check so she didn't have to pay the 4% merchant fee. She thanked me and we were set for that Sunday to stop by.   A 3rd call was received from her between 5-10 later again and she said she would just pay with her card. She apologized for calling us again which I told her it was ok. She understood that there still was a 4% merchant fee and she was ok with paying that. She verbally gave me all your credit card information and I gave her the total we were going to charge.   She never mentioned to me about taking a 3rd sample and if she would have the additional fee for additional samples are $95 each so I am not sure where she not $93 from.   When the report was emailed to her in the body of the email we tell ALL of our clients to email the lad instead of calling them because there only going to get admin people and if they sent an email they are sending it directly to [redacted] (Sr. Project manager) and he will be able to answer all questions or concerns.   Below is a copy of the email we sent her on how to contact the lab if she had any questions..   Hi [redacted],   Please see the attached Mold Report, if you have any questions about your results please feel free to send am email to our lab at -> [redacted] Subject: Chain of Custody number   Body of email: Property Address, Name on the report and of course your name and number.   And a representative ([redacted]) will contact you shortly.   ** PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE LAB DIRECTLY[redacted] ALSO THE LAB IS ONLY AUTHORIZE TO SPEAK WITH YOU**   Also she states in her complaint that we took advantage of her because she is a SENIOR CITIZEN... I am sorry but we don't discriminate in anyway and she wasn't present at the time of the inspection (her son [redacted] was there) so how is it possible that we would of done such a thing.   I am sorry that she wasn't happy with the service we provided to her whoever she hired us to take 2 mold samples which we did, Inspector and lab fees were paid so at this time we aren't able to give her any refund.   I have also attached a copy of the report with the finding for you to see that we did what we were suppose to do.   Please let me know if there is anything else you need from us and let me know what the next process will be.   Thank you,   [redacted] Sr. Operation Manager Home Inspections and Matterport Scans Inspection Advisor Software ###-###-#### [redacted]
