I didn't take too seriously the concept of installation experience and credibility that BMC emphasized. I was of course very interested in price and I got a great price.
What turned out to be the most important item was the installlation. A couple of issues arose through no fault of BMC and BMC took care of them no questions asked. It cost them time and money and they didn't ask for any change in the contract and were happy to do what was necessary. I was really impressed. They are truley customer oriented. Strongly recommend them and am very happy 9 months after the install.

We were referred to them by a trusted family member who assured us that BMC's prices were very competitive, and all materials and installation, would be top notch.
We called Chris Naire for a proposal and sure enough, BMC's bid was lower than their competitors while using the same top of the line equipment.
After signing the contract Brian Meitzler did an excellent job of installing our system in a surprisingly short time.
Everything from contract to installation was handled in a completely professional fashion, while at the same time giving us personal attention to address our specific needs. We feel that from our initial contact to the very last detail of installation that BMC has had our best interests at heart.
As an added bonus we can go online and monitor our solar systems performance in real time. This gives us great piece of mind, as we can insure that our system is performing at full capacity when ever we like.

BMC Solar just finished installing our solar system and they did a fantastic job. We found Chris N to be very informative, detailed, responsive and interested in our specific needs rather than making a sale. His employees, Shane, Adrian and Ray, kept to the proposed work schedule, left the job spotless every day; they were professional and thorough in their communications with us. This company and employees' customer service sets them apart from so many other home improvement companies we've had experience with. Everything from the initial inquiry to the completed installation was handled in a completely professional fashion, we would recommend them without the slightest hesitation.

BMC Solar won my business over 7 other proposals because of an excellent referral from a roofing contractor I liked and the extremely favorable interactions I had with Chris (VP) and Brian (Pres/CEO/Founder) prior to my selecting them. Chris' site evaluation was the most thorough of the vendors and their proposal was competitive and addressed all of the technical and cosmetic issues for this street-facing system. I requested and was invited to inspect a couple of their previous installations and decided to proceed. I had a very tight schedule because of a concurrent roofing job.
The plans were generated promptly and professionally, accepted by the city the first time, and the work was started and completed on schedule. The job site was always tidy. In my case Brian (founder) supervised all of the work himself. He's very attentive to details and has the experience to not overlook things that might result in issues (such as roof leaks) down the line. The completed job was approved on first inspection.
The system has been online now for 7 months and is out-producing their proposal's conservative production estimate. It is a showcase of their workmanship on the front of my house.
