I received the email from *** requesting the copies of invoices as well as photos on December 2ndMy accounting manager is pulling those receipts and I will be sending them over as soon as she sends them to me When the boys moved in, they did not turn in their move in checklist documenting
the condition of the propertyBecause of this they were charged for damages found upon their move out I did go through and discount some of the charges based on my knowledge of the property before they moved in(I was not the property manager when they moved in) Before sending out their first move out calculation there were discounts given resulting in the 2, owing balanceAfter emailing back and forth with *** and *** these last few weeks, I came to a lower cost of This is more than fair considering the condition of the home when they left and the discounts already given I will send the photos and invoices once they are pulled, but we will not be giving anymore discounts on what is owed

I am rejecting this response because:The burden of proof of damages done lays with BMG We have asked for Picture documentation of "said damages" to compare to the move in pictures we have from late summer No pictures have been provided We have contacted the Utah Housing Authority who has referred us to Utah Legal Aid We are reviewing our rights as Tenents and have opened a case file with legal aidI suggest anyone who experiences intimidation and payment under duress from BMG pursue their legal rights

rent-ready in the timeline we have estimated when we post the property availability online.  We always try to inform potential tenants that rental units have the possibility of being delayed by stating  "Availability is subject to change" in each of our postings (see attached). Obviously, when this happens, it is an inconvenience for all of us. This was the case in your circumstance, and we do regret the inconvenience that was caused you.I am also sorry to hear you were not satisfied with the condition of the particular unit you chose.  Some properties are in better condition than others.  This is why we require all potential tenants to visually inspect the unit before signing a lease. If a potential tenant is unhappy with a property, we have no problem moving your application to a different listing for up to 30 days if you so desire.  We do have a strict "no refund" policy with regard to application fees, which we try to communicate very clearly and openly on the application page (see attached).  If you are unable to a) find a suitable listing on our website where we might move your application, I will b) authorize an exception to be made in this case, and we will refund your application fee money. As your first interaction with BMG HomeRiver was less than satisfactory, I hope that either of the aforementioned resolutions helps to demonstrate our empathy for your perspective while also providing you a better understanding of our position. Best regards, CaseyBMG HomeRiver Casey
