This is an ongoing issue to complaint # ***I have attached their response to my complaint belowI was told in the response that the check for was submitted on the 23MayI never received the checkThey were also suppose to mail another check out in days if the original check was not cashedI write this complaint days laterI have been more than patient waiting for their resolutionI have been more than patient with their plans to fix the basement in the beginningNo attempts where made to contact me after I had text them on 16May(which is included on the attachment) I'm very upset with the way they are handling my problemI feel as if they are treating me as a second class citizenI am completely being taken advantage of hereI'm newly divorced mother with my own problemsThis company is part of my problem nowI served this country and am a veteranI am a woman who can easily get taken advantage of because I have very little experience in owning a homeI put my trust and money into this company who spits in my faceYes although they came out to help with the basement flood by providing me a sump pump and a line to and provided help with that it does not justify why they held 2,dollars for close to or months with very little work doneIf this does not get solved soon, I will be forced to take this to small claims courtI don't have the patience for this anymoreI'm at the end of my rope.I want the money sent via certified mail or directly to my credit card in the amount of $2,as stated in the attached letter

Ms ***, after a month contacted us on May 16,via Text MessageThe text message reads as followsHello, not sure whats going on but my credit card is maxed out and i'm paying what I cannot affordBills are piling up I cannot afford to move on with thisI tried to hold outI don't even
have enough money for foodNever mind the 4,deductiblePlease take what I owe you and call it a day.This is after all the work that we had put into the flood that she hadMs *** called us in an emergency on approx feb 24, After hours that she had a major flood approx inches in her basementWe traveled hrs right away for her in an ice stormWe were courteous and gave her prompt attentionMs *** was called several times in an effort to get our equipment back that is at her house. Ms *** signed a contract stating that if the job was canceled she would pay any labor and materials bought for the jobThere is a copy attached for your recordsNevertheless, We decided to refund her and mailed a check to her on 5/23/A copy of the refund check is attached as wellAn investigation into the bank shows that Ms *** did not cash the checkWe have done our part and have expedited the refund process for herWe will wait another days to make sure that her current check is stopped and reissue her another refundThank You for your time
