In this case the client is partly correct, we as a franchised new car dealer did in fact try to honor the clients request to purchase his own car upon lease terminationBMW NORTH AMERICA AND BMW FINANCIAL SERVICES refused to allow us to help the clientWe as a dealer had ZERO control over this decision, the clients lease return was under a NATIONAL RECALL because of a potentially defective airbag and BMW flatly refused to help us or the clientWe apologized profusely to the client over this issue, had we been able to sell him his own car we certainly would have.As far as the clients assertion that his car is now for sale at our storethat is falseWe did in fact purchase the car from BMW but the car is still not repaired as BMW has not shipped us the replacement air bag componentsThe vehicle more than likely showed up on our website for one day as when we purchase any car, our system automatically uploads the vehicle to our site, we then must manually make whatever adjustments are necessaryIf the client would like to purchase the vehicle once it is repaired we would be more than happy to accommodate him respectfully, Tim H***

I spoke to the Gap insurance company (Which we do not use any more and I think that was the problem with getting this check) and was told that I will have a check in my hands no later than Monday morning in which I will then be able to send out a check overnighted to Mr*** I called Mr [redacted] and left a voice letting him know that we were very sorry about the delay and that he will be getting a check overnighted to him for Tuesday deliveryI left my name a cell phone number for him to reach me

I worked very close with this customer personally to make sure that the car was repaired properly I know we had some difficulty reaching out to the [redacted] dealership that had her car and getting them to honor the warranty for the transmission that needed to be put in the car After a little back and forth with the service department in [redacted] for [redacted] everything was addressed and taken care of As for the ticket I spoke to the customer and she reassured me that everything was taken care of and she was very happy with the car now I told her that if she ever needed my help again I would be more than happy to assist in any way possible

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: To this day my vehicle still is not registered I have no paperwork saying my vehicle is or have been registeredOn my dmv abstract right now the vehicle that was registered in my name with the wrong vin stills shows me having this vehicle registered to me in my name with my license plates associated with this vehicle I don't haveAnd for the record no one advise me not to turn in my platesEveryone that associated themselves at this dealer with this current issue is full of themselves, everyone seems to be trying to cover themselves because the screw up and they know itLike I mention before I recieved a letter head from the DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES stating my vehicle registration will be suspended and my plates needed to be turn in and thats what I did because a vehicle was registered to me that I don't have in my possessionNow its getting close to months and I still don't have a vehicle to driveBut [redacted] the motor vehicle clerk supposedly that works there and her counterpart Advise me do go to my local motor vehicle where my license plates are and to try and deceive them to see if they will hand over my plates to meLike I mention before no one cares on how this affects me or making it a priorty to rectify this problemNo one should be experiencing this when purchasing a vehicle but I have and still paying for a vehicle I can't drive Regards, [redacted] ***

Due to the complexity of the Air Conditioning sytem and the discrepancy between our diagnosis and that of the third party,I would like to inspect the vehicle more throughly BMW has a two year warranty on all replacement parts and laborIf the air conditioning system is leaking in any area we have serviced or replaced it would be covered under this warrantyIf it is any other part of the system that has not been serviced and the leak is identified in that area it would not be a covered componentPlease let us know if this acceptableThank You

The vehicle has no previous service history at BMW of BloomfieldIt is our stance that the issues with Mr***'s vehicle were pre-existingWe will offer to have the vehicle diagnosed ,At our expense, At any other authorized BMW center to diagnose the vehicleI am confident that the findings will exonerate BMW of Bloomfield from any wrongdoing.Thank You *** ***

*** ***'s vehicle was out of the factory warranty in March of 2012.Her vehicle came in 4/18/with an air conditioning concernAt that time the condenser and drying container were replaced.(Repair order#*** miles) We have no air conditioning related complaints until May
21,2014.(Ro#*** miles)The vehicle was diagnosed as needing a hot water valve and an expansion valveThese are two entirely different items that are effecting the operation of the air conditioning systemIt is unfortunate that this has happened to the vehicle,But it is out of warranty and not connected to past repairsWe would be more than happy to perform the repairs at a discounted rate

Tell us why here *** *** received a Rental / loaner car from us (BMW of Bloomfield) from 11/8/at 6;00pm thru 11/14/at 6:30pmWhen ms*** returned the Rental / loaner we noted damage to the our vehicle , a dent to the right rear doorOur
records indicate that her her signature is on the Rental / loaner agreement showing that the Rental /loaner vehicle had no damage. We informed Ms*** that our deductible is a $but to help with the matter we will contact her insurance which she spoke to stating she has a $deductible and that there is damage to the Rental /loaner. Ms*** was upset and kept telling us that she didn’t cause the damage. Ms*** was informed that when the rental /loaner vehicle was released to her there was no damage to it and she signed for itShe kept stating she didn’t hit the car. However she did elude to the fact that something may have happened while the car was in her position, but she didn't hit anything. That she didn’t cause the damage someone else did and she shouldn’t be responsible. I've attached a copy of the executed Loaner Agreement for Ms***

Great experience getting a car from BMW of BloomfieldThis is the third car that I leased and wanted to in particular thank Bill H for making the whole process so quick and easyKeep it up!!!

I'm sorry that this has caused so much confusionIt is not that we want to attack anyone, and we apologize if it came across that wayWe were attempting to answer the questions regarding the damage to a service loaner that was driven by *** ***. To clarify, our process is to do a walk around of the service loaner with a client and have them sign a vehicle check out sheet that reveals the condition of the car, when they pick it up. At this time if there is any damage noted both parties see it and document it on the checkout sheet. This process was performed in this caseI provided a copy of that checkout sheet as an attachment in the first response. Photos of the vehicle are not performed in all casesHowever, a vehicle walk around with the client is. Any damage that occurs while the car is in operation of the client is then checked when the service loaner returns by a similar walk around. At that time, per the executed loaner agreement, any damage would be the responsibility of the person or party who had the car in their care. As a result, we informed MsHolley and she contacted her insurance company for handling, stating that her deductible is $Our address for sending any correspondence is;

I have left him several messages and given him thru voicemail my personal cell phone number to get into contact with me so that we may resolve this issueI do apologize for any inconvenience this has cause him. I just leased 328i X drive with the help of Tony *** from sales , I had a suboptimal credit score and tony helped me to get into a 328i xdrive with the options I wanted , OMG !! tony went above and beyond to get me into the car within less than hours , Thank you Tony !

My case has not been resolvedI'm still kindly waiting for my refund I was promised by the general manager which I have not received also

I spoke to the General Sales Manager and he reassured me that he spoke to the customer and they were able to agree on a price for compensationHe stated that the customer left happy
