We proudly owned two BMW vehicles; a 135i Coupe and a X34i SportRecently, BMW of Las Vegas contacted us letting us know that they were interested in buying back the Xas they were in high demand As we began to review the proposal for the new car, we noticed that the value of the Xwas noted as $15,KBB shows pricing at $20-24KIn fact, we received a communication from BMW of Las Vegas the day before we came in to finalize pricing saying the Xwas worth $23,700, plus a $loyalty bonusThey refused to honor that pricing We had both of our vehicles valued at CarMaxThe Xwas valued $22,The discrepancy is ridiculous In closer inspection, we noticed that the Lien/Payoff amount was about $9,where only owed about $4,on the carClearly the payoff amount was inflated to provide for the check of $5,we would walk away withThis made us incensedNot only is this underhanded and unethical, it borders on criminal

We proudly owned two BMW vehicles; a 2007 135i Coupe and a 2013 X1 34i Sport. Recently, BMW of Las Vegas contacted us letting us know that they were interested in buying back the X1 as they were in high demand.

As we began to review the proposal for the new car, we noticed that the value of the X1 was noted as $15,000. KBB shows pricing at $20-24K. In fact, we received a communication from BMW of Las Vegas the day before we came in to finalize pricing saying the X1 was worth $23,700, plus a $1.000 loyalty bonus. They refused to honor that pricing.

We had both of our vehicles valued at CarMax. The X1 was valued $22,000. The discrepancy is ridiculous.

In closer inspection, we noticed that the Lien/Payoff amount was about $9,500 where only owed about $4,500 on the car. Clearly the payoff amount was inflated to provide for the check of $5,000 we would walk away with. This made us incensed. Not only is this underhanded and unethical, it borders on criminal.

Whether I have an oil change or get new tires, my wait time there is ridiculous. I am not talking about a few hours. My last visit there for 4 new tires and balance took exactly 6 hours. To top it off, after I got home, one of the tires had a screw in it. I bought my BMW there, but I am treated like a second class citizen. I want to let as many people know as possible. Don't buy a car there and don't get service work done there.

My husband and I bought a 2013 328i on September 8, 2013 from the salesperson [redacted] assured us that the special promotion where BMW makes the first two payments was still going on. When we met with [redacted] in finance we agreed to 1.9% APR and $521 for our monthly payments. [redacted] regretted to inform us that she had been mistaken and the promotion "didn't apply" to our car. We didn't make a big deal about it. There were a couple things that needed to be worked on (tint, break light cover replacement etc) and [redacted] said she would take care of everything if we brought our car back on friday. After a disappointing tint job and [redacted] taking our car to get serviced AKA sitting at BMW for a day and a half and never getting worked on we never heard from her again.
On September 19th we received a call from [redacted] saying we needed to come into BMW. My husband and I went and he proceeded to tell us that someone made an error on our paperwork. Our APR was now going to be 10.99% and our monthly payments increased by $70 because of THEIR error. They did offer us an extended warranty for our troubles (see YELP reviews about BMW warranties and service). They refused to honor our previous contract and told us that if we didn't sign the new contract than we had to return the car. When we asked for them to put their error in writing they also refused. If you read the fine print BMW is allowed to change their contract and demand that you return the car if you refuse to agree to their new demands. It doesn't make it ethical and it doesn't make it right.
