BMW of Mt. Kisco Reviews (14)

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: The offer from BMW is unacceptable. I am financially unable to assume additional debt by purchasing a new or certified pre-owned vehicle and maintain my current payment obligations to BMW. In addition, if I were to trade in the car, I would be obligated to disclose recurrent water leakage issues which no doubt would have a negative effect on the value of the car and impact my financial burden even further. $3,000 or $5,000 would not be enough money to get me into an adequate, reliable and comparable car without significant added expense which I simply cannot afford. I am seeking a full refund or a replacement vehicle. In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above. Sincerely, [redacted]

BMW MtKisco picked up the clients vehicle today for repairs, (04.**.17) and delivered to the client a replacement courtesy loaner vehicle. The warranty was activated and should be in force on Monday 04.**.17. We are taking care of the clients concerns and returning the vehicle to her
once the repairs are completed

I *** *** called *** *** April *** and I left a detailed voice message with what BMW was offering to alleviate the issues with the vehicle which we at this point know for certain are repaired. BMWNA offered *** *** two months reimbursement of her vehicle
payements and the replacement of the rear carpet, just in case the water leak had damaged the carpet underlay and there was mold. *** *** called back to let me know that this proposal was not going to be accepted by her.I then got back in touch with my BMWNA eastern zone representative and discussed some further options. My BMWNA representative called me back and proposed to help *** *** out of her current vehicle and into a new or pre-owned vehicle, that BMWNA would contribute $towards a pre-owned vehicle or $towards a new vehicle. I have left this latest proposal on MrsFazzingas' voice mail and await a response as to the direction she wishes to explore

Thank you for your prompt response.I have been in consultation with BMWNA and they state; Considering the vehicle is over two years old, plus the fact that the vehicle was extensively water tested to ensure no further leaks, the last offer was BMWNA's final offer

BMW MtKisco IS THE WORST! Worst experience EVER!After months of waiting for the replacement airbag, finally brought my car in for the Takata airbag recall, they called me when it was done and said "great news, your car is ready but your coolent light is on (meanwhile haven't driven my car since APRIL because they said I couldn't drive it due to airbag recall since they gave me a rental) service manager said it was the coolant reserve tank because the car was "sitting so long" had to be replaced at my expense - ($700) he gave me a 10% discount- he said it "would have gone at some time and not our fault" called said the car was ready on Friday pm, went to pick up on Saturday morning (driving mins each way due to running errands) the girl at the counter said "we can't find your car" then when they did finally find it, they couldn't let us take it because they didn't know how much to charge us!! The girl in the office was arguing with the service manager on the phone saying this is ridiculous, these people are waiting, etc We left with the loaner and were told we would get our car on Monday! On Monday, they dropped my car off to me A few hours later, I open the door to my car and it smells musty, I get in and my leg is saturated from the carpet!! The entire floor of the driver side and back floor of drivers side is SOAKED with water!!! I call service again, they send a mechanic to look at it, he touches the carpet, calls the service manager and said "yes, the water is real bad, something has to be done" the service mechanics reassures me they will take care if it and he leaves Service manager calls me and says, "we think it's the sunroof drains, we'll take care of everything and get you back into your car, I ask if I have to pay for ANYTHING and he said no, we'll handle it - call the service desk and make arrangements at your convenience"I called this morning to make arrangements and the earliest appointment is next Wednesday! A WEEK after the water was found There is still water sitting in the car, it stinks and is probably starting to get moldy! Meanwhile, I am NOT driving my car because I don't know what the problem is and don't know if driving it will make it any worse!! So my car will sit for a week with water in it!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. I appreciated the follow up from General Manager Mark E[redacted] and David E[redacted].  Both Mark and David did everything they could to resolve the issue in a timely manner. Both of them were not there when I originally purchased the car under different management. David went above and beyond and fixed ( at cost to BMW), additional maintenance that was done on the car. I appreciate Mark and David' fixing my warranty issue, and I am very satisfied with my experience working with them.
Sincerely,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The offer is rejected. I would put myself at risk for a potential health issue as well as suffer substantial financial loss if I were to accept either of BMW's offers. The latest offer benefits Mt. Kisco BMW and BMWNA financially and is detrimental to me, the consumer. Although it has been 2 years and 2 months since I purchased the vehicle, the vehicle had been in for repair for the same problem on at least four occasions within the two year period that the vehicle was covered under the Certified Pre-Owned Warranty. The recurrent water problems as well as the possible health threat from mold growth, devalues the car significantly. This is a recurrent defective problem. I want a refund or replacement vehicle.

Review: Few days ago I negotiated to purchase BMW i3 with extended range and trade in my 2013 BMW X1. I would like to point to you that the trade price I was given was not honest proce I was given.

We negotiated a deal and I was told that the car will be at the dealership on Friday the [redacted] of August. Also I deposited $500 in order to reserve the car. On Thursday afternoon August [redacted] I received a call from BMW in Mount Kisco that there was a mistake in the price of the car. I was explained that the sales person applied $7500 discount to the price of the car where in reality I will have to apply for tax incentive at the end of the year.

I am attaching the copy of the contract signed by both parties which shows that we already had a contract in place and BMW is not willing to honor.

I called BMW North America and their response was that they cannot help me with the case.Desired Settlement: I would like BMW to honor the business contract we have signed.

Review: Horrible experience, in fact worst experience ever dealing with cars. I had bought a used M5 from their co-partners Land Rover. After two weeks the car started falling apart and I had to return it for service and was sent to BMW for it. They called me after six weeks to say it was the vanos and that the warranty does not cover it. I called the warranty and they said they never denied anything. So I made a fuss about it and they said don't worry we'll take care of it. Now, two months into still not having my car, they said they fixed the alternator and there should not be any vanos issues, mind you they held my car for all of my warranty and expect to give it back as I gave it in. They never get back to me, I call and call to get updated on my car but they never call me back, I have to go to extreme measures to get in touch with a service advisor. All and all I am still waiting on my car going on three months, they should have fixed my car regardless of what issues they have internally, it shouldn't involve me. Very unprofessional.Desired Settlement: I want my car fixed. The vanos is part of the engine and they promised me to cover any motor problems with in three months. I also want both my bumpers painted, they told me they will do so but haven't touched the car. I also want the time they held my car added on to my warranty. It is not fair that they had my car for more than two-thirds of my warranty.
