We cannot fix a car over the phoneAgain, the last time this vehicle was in was almost years agoThere is no way to give you the run around when you have not been in our storeWe would like to help you, we are here to help youThis is not going to be free, but we are willing to helpThank you

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
I have voicemails from BMW to prove they had my information to contact me as well as phone records to show that once the parts arrived I was not contactedAndrew C*** spoke with my husband and reassured him he would contact us the moment it arrived and failed to do soI was not contacted until December at my place of work to inform me of parts being in.
I also want my loaner history correctedI have called Washington state patrol and they have no record of this traffic violation BMW says that I was involved inIf this cannot be fixed I will be contacting corporate and speaking with my attorneyThis is defamation of character.
Sincerely,*** ***

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:Although this issue is old, the concerns were brought to your attention while the car was still in warrantyI've called plenty of times since the issue began and has continued to get the run aroundIt has been an ongoing issueFor the amount of money that I paid for this car, I didn't deserve to be shuffled around until the warranty was no longer good and then given more hassle about coming in as BMW directed to lengthen the process of not addressing the problemBMW knew what he problem was to begin with, but since I was nearing the end of the warranty, BMW didn't fix itBMW kept doing troubleshooting the issue for a year before they kicked me out of coming t get oil in my car until they figured itEvery model of the BMW that I have (750i) has the same issue, but not all of them encounter the issue prematurely as mine didBMW told me, "as long as I put oil in my car, it would run forever", but the oil dripped on the alternator and everywhere else ruining the carAnd the BMW service department PROMISED me that the warranty wouldn't be an issue because the concern was brought to their attention while the car was still within warrantyI would like for BMW to keep their promise and fix my car
Sincerely,
*** ***

I’ve reviewed the notes on your file and have spoken to my Service Manager, Rob R***, regarding this incidentYour Service Advisor has been attempting to contact you regarding your vehicle as the parts have finally arrivedI understand your frustration with the BMW airbag recall parts shortage
and apologize that neither the new BMW provided to you while we waited for the parts to become available nor the Enterprise rental we acquired for you after the loaner vehicle was involved in a traffic incident were to your likingI regret that you feel we let you down and didn’t treat you with respectI assure you we attempt to accommodate the needs all of our customers, whether or not you purchased your vehicle with us. As for the resolution I feel by providing *** with a free loaner vehicle while waiting on recalled parts for her vehicle was enough good will. However the TAKATA parts are here and we are ready to install as soon as possible.Thank youAndrew C***

We never agreed to a price no deposit was taken. We did not come to terms with the customer.I am sorry the customer thinks otherwise. Thank youMr. A[redacted]

We are here to make our clients happy. We strive to develop outstanding relationships with our clients where everyone wins. However, we are very limited to what we can do in a situation where the incidents described happened over 4 years ago. If this were a situation that was recent it would be far...

easier to resolve. We are more than happy to work with this client, but with all the time that has passed this is not a warranty concern.

[redacted],I appreciate the opportunity to respond to your concerns. I understand that you feel we should pay for any services on your vehicle, but we will not be paying for anything. I am not responsible for how long it took for the airbag to show up. NHTSA is in charge of who gets the Takata airbags and when, not the dealer. We have gone over this before and our position has not changed. Thank you.

We cannot fix a car over the phone. Again, the last time this vehicle was in was almost 5 years ago. There is no way to give you the run around when you have not been in our store. We would like to help you, we are here to help you. This is not going to be free, but we are willing to help. Thank you.
