BNW Builders, LLC Reviews (5)

I contracted BNW builders to replace all windows, wrap trim, replace masonite siding with vinyl and replace roof with dimensional shingle roofBNW set a schedule, arrived when they said they would, and finished the job in the time frame they projectedThe job is top-notch, the employees were friendly and accomodatingRarely does a project of this magnitude get completed without a hitchI stongly suggest spending the extra money for a quality company!!

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The excuse for not starting work contracted for ( it has been a very rainy season) does not agree with the weather service recordsAccording to weather service there were days in this day period with more than inch of rainOn three of those days almost all of the rain fell after PM.BNW Builders received my cancellation letter on Nov and only then contacted me and tried to setup an installation dateI can only wonder when they would have called if they did not receive my letter.Section of the contract states : if events occur beyond reasonable control that delay competition they will give buyer notice and provide buyer with a revised estimate for completion of workThis was not done according to contract. For the reasons stated in my original complaint and the above information, request return of my $down payment Regards, [redacted]

I have attached a copy of the contract that Mr [redacted] signed The contract clearly states "Projected Start Date" 3-weeks As you know the reason for this "Projected Start Date" is to protect us from stuff like this It has been a very rainy season which is why we were delayed Upon recieving MrMcGill's cancellation letter on November, we immediately called him and let him know that he was on our schedule for Friday (two days later) Mr [redacted] wanted nothing to with what we said and wanted his down payment back We advised him about the projected date, just as he was told when signing the contract All Mr [redacted] kept saying is that we were out of our 3-week period and he wanted his money back We told him that we have a legal and binding contract and if he wants to cancel, to read section liquidated damages and his down payment of $is all that would be required if he wanted to cancel We want to abide by the contract and perform the work we were contracted to doAgain, we tried multiple times to set up the installation and Mr [redacted] refused.I don't see what we have done wrong The key words are "projected start date" I feel Mr [redacted] is being very unreasonable For whatever reason, Mr [redacted] refuses to allow us to do the work

Had Roof and Gutters doneFantastic jobIt took them days do everythingThe care the took too do the job was outstandingthey made sure to clean up and leave nothing behindThe Owner, The Salesman, & The Workers made sure we was comfortable with what was going onthey answered all questions and DID NOT give us a run around about thingsThey replaced all wood that was damaged that I didn't even know aboutI think other builders would of covered it up and charged me any waySo BNW will get all Projects coming up for my house, which will be soon Thank You BNW

Mr [redacted] , As stated, you were on our schedule for Friday (two days later) than the projected start date We have no reason to lie to youYou last response referenced Section Schedule This section has to do with once we start the work and any delays that would cause the job to go beyond the projected completion date Your accusation that we did not adhere to this is not true You would not let us start the job, therefore there was no delay in completion of the work For the record Section states the following"GutterShutter shall begin the work following execution of the Agreement and shall complete the work within the number of days stated in the agreement If events occur beyond the GutterShutter's reasonable control that delay completion, GutterShutter shall give the Buyer notice of the delay and provide Buyer with a revised estimate for completion of the Work when and if possible under the circumstances." For the record our contract states "Projected Completion Date 1-days"Again, section three is in reference to once work is actually started
