Review: Horrible service! This company needs a lesson in their customer service approach.
After bringing my less than three year old boat there for service, tune-up, and thorough check of entire boat, I shortly thereafter developed a failed clutch, which required a return visit less than 2 months later and $554 to repair. They also found that the emergency kill switch needed replaced, as well as the throttle cable, even though both worked fine when I dropped it off.
Less than six months later, the clutch again failed, as well as emergency kill switch they had just installed. When dropping off for the 3rd visit, Hank offered that repairs would be in "a week to 10 days," and that it would not be bumped up in priority even though it was a one-year warranty on the clutch repairs. After checking back in about a week to update on status, I was informed that his one and only mechanic was out due to funeral of a family member, but that he expected him back by the following week. When I checked back the following week, Hank could give no update on timing of repairs, or when they might even take a look at the boat. He said all he could do was answer the phone and tell me that he had no idea when they'd get to my boat. He then said to just take my boat elsewhere for repairs and then hung up on me before I could further attempt to get an update on my status and his intentions to stand behind their failed repairs still under warranty.
The next day I picked up my boat and took elsewhere. At the time of pickup, when I expressed my dissatisfaction at their approach to standing behind their product and the expectation to at a minimum give a reasonable estimate on expected timing of repairs, he told me to go to hell.Desired Settlement: Parts and labor refund of $554. I will have to spend this same amount elsewhere to get boat properly repaired.
