At this time, I have been contacted directly by The Boat Yard regarding complaint ID 10759575, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The owner is not taking responsibility for the sale He is claiming to be the "middle man" in the sale He claims he has tried
contacting the person he claims was the owner of the skis My Bill of Sale was from the Boat Yard, no one else He offered a "junk" ski that he admits he had as a parts bike to resolve my complaintWhy would I want Junk

Review: I purchased two used 2003 model Sea Do Jet Skis from The Boat Yard Managed by William V[redacted]. They both had 2 stroke motors which are equipped with oil injectors from the factory which automatically injects oils into the fuel system for lubrication. At no time during the purchase transaction or anytime afterwards did Mr. V[redacted] or his associates inform me that the oil injectors had been disconnected and that oil needed to be premixed with the gas in order to properly lubricate the engines. Prior to use, I verified oil levels in the reservior were full and filled units with gas. After burning 1-1/2 tanks of full in each, the units would not run beyond idle. I brought units to mechanic for service and was told by the mechanic that the oil injectors on both units had previously been disabled. Running the units without premixed gas burnt all cylinders. Replacement engines are $2,500 a piece. Mechanic called Mr. V[redacted] on my behalf and was told that it wasn't his responsibility, he only sold the units. I believe a seller should be responsible for informing a buyer if the item being purchased had been modified to operated outside of the original specifications.Desired Settlement: The Boat Yard Inc. should be responsible for the engine damage caused by the lack of lubrication.

Review: Purchased boat trailer from this business on 2-15-13 and tried to register it with the LADMV 7-14. DMV shows that the same trailer was sold to another individual after it was sold to me so I have a trailer that can't be registered and the business told me it was my problem not their problem.Desired Settlement: Refund the money I paid for the trailer plus my expenses for the repairs and modifications to the trailer along with my expenses for trying to register the trailer.
