Boater Barn

Order not fullfilled after 3 weeks past shipping date. Email and phone calls go unanswered. They do not own a store or carry a stock of items displayed on the website. Google maps satellite view shows address is a private residence. Do not use this reseller.

I ordered 30 items (different item numbers meaning 30 different products) from boater barn. Mostly baits. I ordered, paid and completed the order. I spent nearly two hours searching through the site to decide which baits I wanted and added to my cart. I was very pleased at the variety and price.

However the next day I get an email stating that 18 out of 30 of the items I ordered had a 12qty min to order. Now this info was not listed on the site. There was no mention of a min qty. In fact right on the page it asks you to select a quantity to add and starts at 1.

And 8 of the 30 were no longer available on their site or from their supplier.

For those of you counting that means that 26 out of 30 or 87% of my order was not able to be placed. Only 4 items were available for my order.

Now I can understand if supplies are limited and will take a while, it happens. I could even understand limits on min/max amounts, IF LISTED AHEAD OF TIME. I would even forgive an occasional item that should have been removed from the site after being discontinued....But not 8 out of 30. And those are just the ones I ordered, how many are no longer available that I skipped past??? Very poor business model and absolutely horrid website management.

I do not recommend this company. I will no longer do business with them. I went to amazon, ordered everything again, and only paid $4.32 more and the order actually shipped 1.5 hours after placing the order. I keep trying to beat amazons prices but keep coming back because I know I'll get my items hassle free
