Review: We ordered a sectional sofa on May 26, 2013, we were told it would be 6-8 weeks for delivery, we paid 1349.92 as a 50% deposit. In August, they attempted to deliver the sofa but it had been manufactured incorrectly and did not fit our room. Boatman's agreed that it was their error and told us that we would have the correct item delivered within 2 weeks. At the end of September, since we had not heard anything, we called Boatman's again and were told that there was a fabric issue with the manufacturer and that it would be another 6-8 weeks for delivery. We said that more than 6 months for an item that was promised in 6 weeks was not acceptable, and asked that they cancel the order and refund our deposit, which they agreed to do. In an additional two weeks when we had not received the refund, we opened a dispute with our credit card company, and they were told by Boatman's that all sales are final and they will not refund. Apparently they will also not fulfill the sale because when I called to find out where my furniture for this "final sale" was, they said that it had been cancelled.Desired Settlement: We would simply like a refund of the deposit that we paid, for the items that we never received. The sale cannot be final if it was never completed.
