I had a central air unit installed in June 2019. Paid by check and have copy of canceled check. I've requested multiple times a receipt as well as all paperwork for the unit. Today I contacted the manufacturer directly who advised me to look on the unit itself for the serial number and since the units registration wasn't completed within 60 days of install, the warranty is only for 5 years instead of 10 years.
