Sorry,But carpet that says it is width is standard 1" to 1/2"short and can be streched to 12'.I will provide a fill pc of carpet[12' x3'at no charge to help the customer finish his installation

Mr. [redacted] was not told the carpet would stretch to 12'1"because 11'10 1/2 " is the standard width of most residential carpets and all of the associates at Nice carpets are aware of this.They can be stretched to 12'and that why the samples say 12' on them. At the time of purchase, I was told by the Nice Carpets representative (Sharon) that this would work in my house "12' would stretch to 21'1". We talked about maybe using a power stretcher to accomplish this. At no time during the sale was I told the carpet would likely be shorter than 12'. Please reference the sales receipt I supplied that states 12' wide, not 11'10 1/2". Nor is there any mention on the receipt of a tolerance. The receipt is our binding agreement and should be honored as such. If Nice Carpets is going to sell product that does not meet the dimensions stated on the contract, they should be upfront about this, and not wait until after the product is delivered. I have a witness that was with me, and can attest to the conversation above.
