Recently purchased a used 2010 Ford Mustang GT on 7/8/16. We went and looked at the vehicle in the morning and could not come to an agreement on price. As you know, dealers like to do the what payment do you want to pay a month scheme and I wanted to know the total price of vehicle out the door. We left dealership and went home which is about 25 miles away. I contacted salesman and made one last out the door offer price. Salesman called back five minutes later and they said they would take the offer. I confirmed one more time over the phone with the salesman that this price is the total price to include any fees that dealers like to add on to make money and salesman assured me that it was the total price of vehicle including all fees. We went back to the dealership in the afternoon, another 25 mile drive to sign the paperwork. When paperwork was presented it had a $299 documentation fee added. I advised finance manager the price I offered was to include all fees so he contacted the salesman. The salesman came in a few minutes later and said it was a misunderstanding on his part and he made a mistake. I find this hard to believe because I was perfectly clear over the phone that the price I offered was to include all the dealer fees they try and tack on. I advised salesman and finance manager that was okay but since the car did not have a spare key I asked the salesman if he could give me one since it was his mistake. The salesman stated he would get me a key and that we would just need to bring the car back so they can make the key and program key fob at a later date. I advised this would be okay since we needed to come back to finalize the loan papers. We came back today, 7/14/16, to sign the final loan papers and get the spare key done. The salesman said he couldn't get me a key because he had not been paid yet and we would have to come back on another day after he had been paid. I advised salesman that it was ridiculous because nothing that was agreed upon had been done. The offered out the door price of vehicle was to include all dealer fees and they still added a $299 Documentation fee and the key that was agreed to be given was not going to be provided. Miss the days when a business agrees to something and stands by it. I advised salesman that I was not going to come back on another day, 25 mile drive, just to get a spare key made that he said he would get me when I came back today, I said I would just buy one myself. The salesman quoted a ridiculous price plus a $60 activation fee for the key fob for a key he was supposed to get me for free. I told the salesman lets go ahead and do it because I wasn't making an extra trip just for a spare key. This was at 10:15am, the salesman came back and said we would have to come back in the afternoon to get a key made because the guys that make the keys were going to lunch at 11:00am and wouldn't have time to make the key before lunch because it would take about 2 hours to make key and program to car. I told salesman to forget it and that I would just go to my dealer, [redacted], because I trust them and their customer service is the best and they honor what they say. [redacted] was able to make me a key and program the key fob in about 30 minutes and the price was about $100 dollars less than Bob Hurley Ford with no activation fee. Don't use Bob Hurley Ford if you want good customer service. They don't have it and don't say what they do or do what they say.

I had a great experience buying my truck at Bob Hurley. My salesman [redacted] was very helpful, not pushy, and made buying a new truck a wonderful thing.
