Review: My son took my 2010 [redacted] in or around September of this year to get a part we purchased to be installed underneath the front bottom of the car. When he picked it up from the garage he noticed that it didn't sound right. We only live a few blocks from Nolan's. He looked underneath the ** and saw that it wasn't done right. My son ([redacted]) took it to a different shop named [redacted] and was told that it wasn't done right by Nolan's. This shop charged $300 to redo the work. My son is younger (26) and has a speech impairment that acts up if he is upset so he didn't complain to them and I am 62 and a woman so I didn't feel that Nolan's would do anything about it. I emailed them a week ago and explained this all to them and haven't heard anything back from them. So this is where I'm at, very frustrated and felt the need to let you know in hopes of getting our $800 back from Bob Nolan's Auto Service.Desired Settlement: $800

In regards to the complaint you received regarding work done by our shop on May 7,2013, Customer was advised before doing any work what the price would be for installing her parts on her car and she agreed to the price.
We never heard from the customer again until the letter from the Revdex.com arrived on Christmas Eve. This customer had been in the shop on 01/06/2012 and brought in her own parts, to be installed, which was done for her at that time. She also had Pa State Inspection done on 12/1/2012.
Our policy is to do the best job we can and if the customer is not satisfied we would make the customer happy by doing the job over if needed at no additional cost. Be advised our shop is has been a [redacted] approved auto shop for approximately 40 years and we have always tried our best to make our customers happy.
This woman was in on May 7, and had she come back we would have made any repair that was not right at no charge to her. Now it is 7 months later and she is making a complaint. Even so being a [redacted] approved auto we would still be willing to make any necessary changes as we do give a 1 year warranty as [redacted] requires and as our shop has always honored.
We are very sorry for what ever happened but since she already took her car to another shop we cannot be responsible for their work, and this is not a very timely fashion to make a complaint
Thank you for the opportunity to give our side of this complaint.
