Bob Pion Buick GMC Reviews (2)

I was asked to put a $100.00 down just to HOLD a car that I was THINKING about purchasing however I found another vehicle. Refuse to give $100.00 back[redacted] of Bob Pion asked my girlfriend and I to put down a $100.00 to hold a vehicle that were interested in. At that time we did not sign any purchase agreement. On the day of the appolintment to come and speaking with the Financial folks we decided on another car. The[redacted] has hung up the phone twice in my face and told me becaue he detail the car he will not be giving me my money back. I NVEVER signed a purchase order and was NEVER given one. I'm very disgusted with the way this dearlship has handled this. I have put money on cars to hold in the past and I have NEVER had to deal with this type of treatment. AND the[redacted] told me and I quote " Go get a lawyer it's going to cost more than your $100.00" This is completely unacceptalbe and I'm looking for help from your to get this matter resolved as soon as possible.Desired SettlementI'm JUST seeking my $100.00 refund.Business' Initial Response [redacted] and [redacted] were in the dealership and proceeding through the process of purchasing a 2010 Buick Lacrosse. They have given Bob Pion Buick GMC all documents in order to secure financing, as well as signed a Buyer's Order, and Credit Application. We do have copies of the aforementioned documents in house. They left a One Hundred dollar deposit to lock in their deal and for the dealership to assist in their financing needs. Upon being notified that financing had been secured, the customer was contacted by telephone and a delivery time was set up for Saturday the 13th of July. The customer was unable to produce the down payment amount by then, and a new delivery time was set up for Monday the 15th. Several attempts to reach [redacted] and [redacted] were met by a short conversation informing our salesperson that they were running late. Later in the evening the customer then notified our salesperson that "they decided to go in a different direction." Bob Pion Buick GMC's Buyer's Orders have a box that was initialed by [redacted]: "In the event I fail to take delivery of the vehicle purchased by me within forty-eight (48) hours after I have been notified by you that it is ready for delivery and pay the total contract price in the manner indicated, my deposit in the amount of $100 ($100 in [redacted]'s case) may, at your option, be retained by you to compensate you in whole or in part for any losses sustained by you. Your right to retain my deposit shall be in addition to and not limiting the generality of the foregoing, the sale of the car or truck I agree to purchase. If the amount of my deposit exceeds actual damages sustained by you, you will promptly refund the difference to me."The dealership had cleaned the vehicle and gassed as well as removed it from inventory. We feel that retaining [redacted]'s $100 is well within our rights to compensate us for:A. Lost timeB. Returning the vehicle to inventory in all dealership marketing campaignsC. The cost of detailing the vehicle for customer deliveryIt is never the dealerships intent to steal or unrightfully take money from any customer. We pride ourselves on providing a quality service. We also feel we are well within our right to retain [redacted]'s deposit. That said, in the interest of good customer relations, I have directed my [redacted] to refund the $100.00 deposit.

The dealership has poor service related to its service dept and from the sales and service managers. The will not resolve a issue with used vehicle.I purchased a used 2010[redacted] in [redacted] and after driving it I noticed the steering shakes when turning at lower speeds. I made a appointment at the dealership and had them look at the vehicle on [redacted] They state nothing is wrong even though both the serice manager and sales manager drove it per my request and acknowlege a issue. They state everything is tight per the mechanic onsite. I decided to take this vehicle the same day to another local garage same day for another opion. This garage stated they feel the same issue and diagnosed it the issue as the steering bracket havingh a problem. I would like this repaired as I feel it is unsafe and the vehicle should be protected under the mass lemon law for 60 day from purchase for all safety issues. The local mangagment was of no help and continued to just state its fine and thety can do nothing further to fix the issue.Desired SettlementRepair of the steering shaft or whatever else is causing the vibration in the sterring of the vehicle.Business Response The vehicle does not have in our professional opinion any issues relating to the saftey of this vehicle. The vehicle was driven by a trained technician, the sales manager, general manager, and the service manager who has been working at the dealership for 4 months after working the last 7 years servicing brand new [redacted] It is never the position of the dealership to sell any unsafe vehciles. The [redacted] passed ** state inspection after the customer took ownership of the vehicle which requires a full safety inspection. We would be more than willing to get the opinion of a Jeep dealership if the customer so chooses. We will take care of getting it to the local dealer and let them give us their opinion. At this time we are unable to find anything unsafe with the vehicle, both the service and sales managers were able to feel what the customer is speaking about and have come to the conclusion that it is a normal operating characteristic of a Jeep Wrangler.
