***April 12, 2016Revdex.comS Country Rd 5, Ste 100Fort Collins, CO To-Whom-It-May Concern, Bob Staley's Plumbing - Heating - Air is responding to a Revdex.com Complaint ID # *** from customer *** *** (*** ***) regarding service issues. Bob Staley's Plumbing - Heating - Air did respond to a service call on Monday, January 18, *** had called first thing that Monday morning and needed a technician out to her residence at *** *** *** *** *** ** as quickly as possible, as they were having a new counter top installed and needed the drain lines capped offWe rearranged our schedule and sent a technician out immediately so that they would be able to continue with the installation of the counter tops with no delayBefore our technician started to remove the existing individual vent for the kitchens drainage system he noticed the vent system was on a vertical rise above flood rim then degree turn through the back of the kitchen cabinet and exited outsideThe vent system (1/galvanized pipe) then turns degrees vertical through the roof (all exposed on the outside of the dwelling)So one can imagine due-to-the two story dwelling that 1/galvanized pipe at a distance of that magnitude will become quite heavy (not to mention there were zero clamps holding this vent system attached to the dwelling)Our technician then called the office stating he needed another guy to hold the venting system while he cut, removed (horizontal portion), clamped and capped off the venting systemThis was our assurance the vent would not fall below the roof flashing and cause damage to their dwellingBSP technician then asked our customer to call us when they were done with the counter top installation so that we could schedule hooking the drain lines back up to the kitchen sink*** called back Tuesday and stated that they were ready to have the drain lines hooked back upWe already had jobs lined out for Tuesday, January 19, so I told *** we would schedule her for Wednesday, January 20, 2016. Yes, we were behind in billing due-to-a software issuesThe plumbing alterations were done at the end of January and the bill was sent out at the end of March*** *** called us on April 4, to discuss the bill he thought the labor was a bit excessiveJohn Staley returned ***'s phone call as he was not in the office when *** originally called, to discuss what was done at their house for the service callJohn understood ***'s concerns and so he discounted the bill $John thought the conversation went as well as could be Mr*** did not bring up any more concerns or issues after the credit was issued I apologize that Mr*** and Mrs*** did not understand the entire scope of workThis job did take two technicians to completeThe original invoice #total amount was $421.84, discounted labor $on April 4, 2016, adjusted invoice totaling $*** *** stat in her first paragraph page of that she agreed to $for the service of capping off existing vent systemMrs*** then stated she accepted "maybe another hour plus parts" to come back & hook up her new kitchen sinkConclusion; $labor 1st day, plus $material, plus $tax and then only one hour labor to finish at $would be a total of $Revised invoice amount due after $credit (April 4, 2016) is $If we take $minus $equals a difference of $I, John Staley am more than willing to discount $off of the $making total amount due $329.34.Thank you for your time-John StaleyBob Staley's Plumbing- Heating-Air
