Response:Mrs*** brought her Escape in 6-11-because A/C wasnt coolingVehicle was low on freon, so we added freon and dye to systemDye is added to find leakNo leak was found ($74.10)On 6-16-a/c system was low on freon againWe black lighted to find leakNo leak was found, so
we re-charged system at no chargeAll pressure checked good and system worked fineOn 6-29-vehicle was dropped back off not coolingThis time high side pressure was too highWe recommended replacing expansion valve, drier and flushing system.She was informed we had to start here and this may not solve the problemShe agreed and said *** had told her the sameWhen flushing system we found condenser stopped upFlushed several times and finally got flushed outInformed Mrs*** it may not last because it was so badWe tried to save her moneyShe told us she had put stop leak in itWe beleive this cause some if not all the problemsWhen vehicle left pressure was fine and working good ($373.00)On 7-13-A/C warm againHad to replaced condenserCould not be flushed againShe was told this may not solve all the problems but needed replaced to work properlyShe approved repairs for ($367.00)On 8-3-A/C quit againMrs*** came in upset and yellingWe said again that we think the stop leak was to problemThis time we found the compressor to be leakingThis vehicle has intermittent problemsVery hard to diagnoseWe told Mrs*** to take to dealer and we would pay diagnostic fee and make necessary repairsAll repairs we made were needed and approved by Mrs***Each time she was told these may not be all her problemsThis is the first complaint we have ever receivedWe do our best to satisfy all our customersWe apoligize for any misunderstanding.Sent on: 9/22/9:23:AM
