We built the transmission in Feb on this year Unfortunately the vehicle back in May three times due to faulty seals and repeated leaks All of which was repaired at no charge The vehicle left early June and was out for monthsAT the customer's request, We then towed it back in on Sept because it did not start Further FREE diagnostics revealed that the fuel pump has failed The fuel pump is completely unrelated to the transmission The customer has failed to authorized repairs for three weeks Because the vehicle does not start we cannot test the customer's complaint of transmission leaks AND because the car does not lock we store it inside every night as a courtesy to the customer In order to do so we have to push the car in and out of the shop every day We should not, an no longer will push the car in and out every day while waiting three weeks for the customer to authorize repairs If the customer wants us to store the vehicle inside they can storage fees of $per day starting today 9/27/If the customer wants to remove their vehicle from the center they owe $for the tow and NO storage fees if the vehicle is removed today 9/27/ If it is not removed today $per day will be added to the bill The is a sign clearly posted in the lobby that states 'we are not responsible for vehicle left overnight and and vehicle left over hours with no repairs authorized are subject to a $per day storage fee.'

Customer gave us a verbal authorization of his birth date of February 2, on May 24, at 9:45am to remove the transmission and that he understood the levels of pricing prior to Aamco performing any cost services The customer repeated the pricing back to us to ensure his understanding
before the conversation ended When we gave the final pricing to the customer they then had sticker shock and decided they did not want the work performed The customer paid $at this time for us to reassemble the transmission and reinstall it in the vehicle This $includes a tow fee of $ We informed the customer that it would take up to approximately hours to complete this which equates to 2-business days The customer then left the facility.Later the same day the customer called back and said they wanted to put a used transmission in the vehicle This changes our process with reassembly We then ordered a used transmission for the customer and was waiting for it to arrive the following day Customer then came in at 9am the next morning and CHANGED THEIR MIND AGAIN saying they just want their car back.We are currently reassembling the transmission and will install it as soon as possible Because we had already reassembled the transmission for a non-working core to exchange for the used unit we now have to disassemble it again to be rebuilt for a working unit and because the customer changing their mind twice we will not be able to complete the work until Tuesday or Wednesday June 1st due to the holiday weekend

Yes thank you We ended up not charging the customer any fees other than the towing which is what she requested The customer did not pick the car up the day she said she would when she filed her complaint It sat another days and no charges were issued for the storage

I have called the customer three times per mike p*** and left messages Customer has never spoken to us about issues or given us a chance to rectify Customer needs to come to the shop so we can assist

I could not believe what I was reading and realized that John/AAMCO was going to continually be dishonest regarding this matterThis is not how things happenedAgain, we were primarily reviewing quotes (quotes) and never gave him permission to take out the transmissionWe were waiting for his final call to decide which quote to take because John/AAMCO said he wanted to check further on the car.On Wednesday May 25, John/AAMCO called with an update of quotes and this is when we realized that John’s prices had increased to an amount outside of our budget, we then said we just will come pick up our car, we were never Sticker Shock The prices were just not something that we wanted to spend on the carJohn L***/AAMCO kept asking us about our finances and trying to get us to finance the cost of the repairWe kept reinforcing that we had a certain amount of money to work with and needed the best economical way to repair the car. What is true about all of this and I also stated it in my initial inquiry to Revdex.com, is that we considered for a moment going with the junk yard quote ONLY, because we had already been forced/swindled (ripped off) to pay John/AAMCO a total of on Wednesday to get my carWe paid & didn't get the car until Friday the 27thWe didn’t know what to do, that is why we considered changing our mindAt the time, it seemed like the best thing to do, but I later realized that it was exactly what John/AAMCO wanted, to make us do business with them. To add insult to injury on Friday, we were told we had to sign paperwork in order to even get our key/car backFirst, they said I had to pay for car NOW, John/AAMCO is saying we have to complete paperwork(This was the first signature now being required of us to sign on 5/27/throughout this entire ordeal) Now, they made us sign papers we should not have to sign anything because we never did in the first place, John/AAMCO just did what they wanted to my car without permission

We did not notice his window was down when it rained Friday morning while we were working We apologized and did our best to dry the customer's car

We have no further response Customer's information is inaccurate

The repairs were done at this local shop and the customer has not given the shop an opportunity to rectify the problem Please contact the shop and we can discuss solutions Thank you

I am only rejecting to adress a few pointsFirst, the car was pulling an air induction and fuel too lean code when I left ( hence the reason for making me walk to get gas to bring back to the shop) and the fuel pressure was never checkedI told them from the start to fix everythingThey not only fixed transmission but oil leaks as wellTransmission is fine - car is leaking oil like crazy all over the groundI never asked for fuel pump to be fixed for freeI understand it is another issueWhat I meant is there were warning signs and the fuel pressure was never checked - even though the codes were thereIt got progressively worseAlso I waited for a week for John to call me back in "min" and finally got an answer after my third call yesterdayI was very patient with the shopI was without my car for at least months - I would get it back for days then it would go in for another 2-weeksI never demanded a rental car ( which I was told by one of the employees there the warranty covered if you ask) I was very patientThe transmission is fineThe oil leaks are notThe fuel pulp had indications of it going out and I would have had it looked at further and maybe fixed then if they would have done a bit more testing and diagnosticsClearly I had no issue at that point fixing whatever needed to beI also know the car is not pulled into the shop it's sitting in a locked area behind the shopI drive by there dailyMaybe at first they pulled it in and out but I know now it certainly is in back area and has been for a while I will pay tow on Friday but I don't think ANY storage fees should be chargedI was extremely patient this entire time and went through a lot more then most customers would as far as issues and bringing the car backI also want oil leaks fixed under warranty once fuel pump is fixed and up and runningI paid to have them fixed and I think that needs to be honored as well
