Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because I was specifically TOLD to include invoices that I would have because of this injury I would have NEVER thought to submit food on my own & again, the small amount that I did provide was not close to what I really had to pay for It was not my entire lifestyle change, it was what I HAD to eat full time with no choice & still did not cover that entire timeIf we are talking about a lifestyle change, I also couldn't talk with my bird every day...If they really want more proof of what this probably did to my jaw I will get that but if I'm charged I will submit that bill to them as well I don't understand the difference between telling me to submit medication that I would need & being prescribed a special diet...either way I'm doing what the doctor/dentist told me Why would I continue to tell the customer service woman about the invoices I'm gathering if she never told me to get them in the first place? Here are those e-mails[redacted] ***< [redacted] >Jan 20toyvonneHi Yvonne,I wanted to let you know that I do have a more complete follow up with the dentist on JanI was feeling better & didn't expect this visit to have anything to do with the problem that I had because of the pebble However I did finally have more chewy food for the first time yesterday & started having pain again in the bottom area as well as well as the top The top area never got an x-ray since I had so much pain in the bottom but I will be getting a full set of x-rays on the 25th& I will now be going back to liquids & very mushy food until I'm looked at again After that appointment (if I'm able to wait), I'll submit my claim with invoices.Just wanted to keep you posted.Thank you for your time.Sincerely, [redacted] P.SI still have not received the envelope to mail anything to you Yvonne F*< [redacted] >Jan 24tomeHello ***, I am so sorry to hear that you are still experiencing pain I hope you can find out the extent of the damage to your mouth so you can begin to heal Thank you for keeping me updated I have requested that another self-addressed envelope be sent out to you They might send it in a box alsoRegards, Yvonne F*ustomer Service ManagerBob's Red Mill Natural FoodsPh# [redacted] *** From: [redacted] [ [redacted] @gmail.com] Sent: Friday, January 20, 12:PMTo: Yvonne F [redacted] < [redacted] >Subject: pebble incident Hi Yvonne, I'm pretty sure it threw my jaw off real hard with the way it's been feeling & will just need more time to "rest" I don't think anything is broken, I wasn't thinking to check out top & bottom (& top teeth were not screaming like the bottom at that time even though my entire jaw was I could only tell them which teeth were also in horrible pain) It makes total sense for my top to have been bothered & only notice it after the others calmed down We obviously need both top & bottom teeth to even be able to bite so after thinking more I'm not surprised & at least it eases my mind when I understand what is going on I'm always in tuned to whatever is happening to my body no matter what, I'm very self aware & have studied/researched a LOT! Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because as I stated the wording you wrote in your release letter makes it sound like I was not honest about my claim? If you simply wanted to make this fair & reimburse me for my out of pocket expenses caused by your product, there is no reason to imply anything I'm saying to be or even misleading? You called me directly when communication has been through the Revdex.com since I stopped hearing from you months ago? Now out of the blue, you decide to pay the exact amount that I submitted back in Feb& I agreed but asked for whatever I was to sign to be sent to the Revdex.com as well as the entire agreement for documentation & you chose not to send it to them? I don't know why I had to inform them of what you sent me & why you tried to have me sign something sneaking in "related to a purported dental injury"? NOTHING about anything I've written or stated has been "purported" (appear or claim to be or do something, especially falsely, profess) as you chose to call it, so we are on the same page? This can be very simple, this actually could have been easily taken care of in the beginning when I submitted the invoice for the dentist visit & food that I had to eat because I couldn't eat other things, the invoices again that I was TOLD to submit, because no one told me (as you stated previously) something about taking care of a dentist visit directly & I was told I had to pay it out of my own pocket like everything else? I don't understand why now you want to call me a liar & make me sign something saying I agree to fabricating any part of this? If you really did want to resolve this & not continue to think that I wouldn't review something before signing it or have someone else look at it, trying to make me look stupid & take further advantage of me as you have been this entire time you would truly do what was right? I'll sign the release even including that part that you have saying "whether known or unknown that you or your family may have against Bob's Red Mill Natural Foods, Inc."....this part is the issue...related to a (MUST leave out the word purported) dental injury.I've been MORE than honest with you & gave YOU the benefit of the doubt but it was you that has continuously proven bad ethics & several ways of misleading me? How many times have you made me jump through hoops for such a small reimbursement & you are doing it again? This happened in Jan., I gave you everything you asked for in Feb., stopped hearing from you the beginning of March & now May is almost over...Beyond days, trying to deal with you directly being ignored & since the beginning of this month on here only now YOU contacting me directly for some reason you want to give me what I've asked for from day 1? It all doesn't sound right & NO one should have to deal with this for so long & again why you have made me not trust you, I haven't given you any reason not to trust me because I've done all you asked.Regards, ? Oh & I did get the envelope so I hope you didn't re-send another one yet.Thank you for your assistance.Sincerely,*** ***Once again, I continue to speak about the food invoices...never once did she tell me NOT to send them because they will not count at all! In fact it was the total opposite since I've never had a situation like this before, Yvonne was the one to tell me to include food if that was going to be apart of my issue We wrote back & forth for months, she had PLENTY of time to tell me in writing she made a mistake & should never have told me to include anything but a dentist visit...but when we spoke she told me to include EVERYTHING that would be out of pocket because of this injury If I knew they were going to pull this stuff now, I WOULD have gone to the TMJ specialist with my last dollar & borrowed more to prove what really happened as well as had the pebble analyzed by the USDA for food & safety...at least again for real proof & to be taken seriously which they CLEARLY aren't Telling me one thing in the beginning, pretending to care & be nice & then ignoring me after I don't take their bogus deal when mine was very fair VERY simple-read the e-mails & why would I take all that time to gather invoices if I wasn't TOLD to? Yvonne did say she wasn't the one who approves these claims, she was the "buffer", always trying to be positive about everything however now seeing their response obviously she KNEW that nothing else was going to be covered & I was feeling that way after my claim was denied I felt very disrespected & can't say enough how long they wasted my time & took advantage of me If I didn't feel this was a good & honest company I would NEVER have sent the cereal or pebble to them, it SURE would have been analyzed by a pro first & my submitted bill would far exceed what I've been asking I'm really considering reaching out to my long time dentist who knows my mouth & seeing if he can be a witness for me & possibly taking this even further. Please continue to review more messages.*** ***Feb 2toYvonneHi Yvonne,I finally got things together to send to youSince I had to be careful with what I ate, I went through many of the foods/supplements I wouldn't usually have on a daily basis & had to get my items stocked up again quicker. It also used up a small gift card that I didn't intend to useWhen I went for my other visit although I was still hurting at times, nothing pertaining to the pebble was found so I didn't include that visit. Here is the first emergency visit which was $& the only ones I have for food that I had on order but then needed to replace sooner.=$Total of $277.30.I don't have the few trips to the store & of course pain is subjective. I would really appreciate if you could take what happened seriously as well as my honesty into consideration The package with the pebble & the cereal will be on the way this weekend.Thank you & if you have any questions please feel free to contact me through e-mail or my home phone ***9.Sincerely,*** ***Yvonne F*Feb 2tomeHello ***, I am acknowledging that I have received this message and your receipts. I will add these to your complaint and hand deliver them to our Claims Committee representative. Hopefully we can have this resolved as soon as possible. Regards, Yvonne F*ustomer Service ManagerBob's Red Mill Natural FoodsPh# *** *** *** The last messages before "negotiations" were just about mailing out the product & the pebble, which took me a little longer to get out to them So instead of early Feb, it was later that month & not even then did anyone tell me with all my fairness in how many invoices I sent along with what was on them, only the emergency visit would be covered-NOTHING ELSE! I was given hope even with that e-mail that this would be resolved as quickly as possible since she was going to hand deliver everything I sent The things I was lead to believe were not even close to what happened & it would NOT have happened if I were not so horribly deceived
Sincerely,
*** ***

Response to complaint ***We are in receipt of your letter dated May 12, regarding your Complaint ID listed aboveWeare always sorry to hear of potentiality problems stemming from our product & and appreciate the opportunityto address 'this customer concern. We take steps in our
production process to screen product in an effort to avoid or minimize riskssuch as 'those described by the Customer when dealing with a raw agricultural productThis approach hasproven to be quite successful, so fortunately in our experience potential incidents like this one are very rare. When incidents have sometimes arisen over the years with our products, we have done our best totake the claim at face value and to try to make the customer whole as to their actual out-of-pocket expensesfar any injury incurredThis involves assisting with the payment of dental fem directly to the dentist Afterreviewing the matter with the dentisthe does not include providing Customers with monetaryreimbursement for their living expenses or other unrelated expenses. In this instance, we offered to reimburse the Customer for dental fees incurred ($124.00) basedupon a receipt dated 1/11/The Customer also submitted receipts to us for other manufacturer'sconsumer packaged food goods that were purchased on AmazonWe notified the Customer that we wouldnot reimburse for her unrelated living expenses, but we did offer the Customer a gift card to our onlinestore as a gesture of goodwillIn return for the dental reimbursement payment, we asked the Customer tosign a waiver agreeing that her claim would be satisfied in full upon receipt of the paymentWe believethat such a payment and release 'Would be a fair and equitable resolution of the situation, but unfortunatelythe Customer did not agree.Again, we are sorry to hear of this unfortunate circumstance and would be happy to provide theCustomer with direct reimbursement of the $she paid to see her dentist in exchange for a signedwaiver
