To Whom It May Concern,
In repairing Ms***'s vehicle we installed a replacement transmissionHer transmission is a CVT transmission that cannot be rebuilt at our facility in the same fashion as a conventional automatic
transmissionWhen we get CVT transmissions in our facility we rely on an outside source to supply this transmissionUnfortunately the rebuilding process for this type of transmission is outside of our control and we were forced to work with a third party in correcting Ms***'s problemsWhen her vehicle returned to our facility with persistent transmission failures we worked diligently with our supplier helping them to understand and correct the problem her vehicle was havingThis particular supplier is one of the top CVT transmission rebuilders in our industryWe've had a low rate of return with their CVT transmissions over the yearsOur supplier was committed to diagnosing and supplying another transmission to install on each occasionWith shipping time and diagnosis this process takes one to two weeks to resolveEach time we corrected the problem and installed another transmission at no cost to Ms***We understand the inconvenience of not having your vehicle and how frustrating it may becomeOur warranty does not provide for rental car expense but we made an exception for Ms***We offered her a loaner vehicle and have refunded her for her rental car expensesWe have since completed the vehicle and returned the vehicle to her in good working orderIt is our expectation she will not have any future problems

We worked on the air conditioner in this vehicleWe replaced several components in order to make the air conditioner
workThe air compressor that the customer wants to be refunded for was not one of those componentsThe compressor he had replaced at the dealership was working and was not leaking when the vehicle left our storeWe are in no way responsible for the failure of the air compressorI called and spoke with the service advisor at the dealership that was in charge of the repairing the air compressor on the vehicleHe said the air compressor had to be replaced because it had a major leak and would not hold FreonHe said the Freon was leaking so bad that it was coming out as fast at it was going inThe Freon was not leaking when the vehicle was at our store
When we worked on this vehicle there was a "pressure problem" keeping the air conditioner from workingWhen the vehicle first entered our shop we found Freon in the system but the "pressure safety switch" was tripped and keeping power from reaching the air compressorThe compressor would only come on for a few seconds and then shut off so the air did not get coldWe found something clogging the ac system and deadheading the pressure from the air compressorOnce the pressure reached a certain point the safety switch would turn the air compressor offWe measured the pressure in the system found it immediately going to 450lbsoperating pressure is approximately 250lbsWe started checking for a clog and found the expansion valve and evaporator core restrictedWe contacted the customer and told him there was a clog and we would need to replace the expansion valve and evaporator coreThe customer authorized the repair at a price of $
We replaced those two components and retested the systemAlthough it took much longer now for the pressure to increase it was still climbing too high and activating the pressure safety switchWe continued to check for a clog and found the condenser partially restrictedWe replaced the condenser and retested the system to see if the pressure problem was resolvedThe pressure in the system was completely normalThe air temperature from the vent inside the vehicle was coldThe air conditioner was fixed and working properly
When the customer came to pick up the vehicle we explained not only was there a restriction in the evaporator but in the condenser as wellWe offered him free labor on the condenser and asked if he would pay for the partThe price of the part was $The customer agreed, paid the bill and left with the vehicle

I had my truck towed there after talking to a service rep there name *** to have it repaired my transmission had went outHe gave me a quote of $so I told him to go ahead with the repairs and asked if I could pay installments because I couldn't come out with that kind of cash so soon and once I was able to pick up my car they had knocked my fan pulley bracket loose and let me leave the shop and once I drove off and got on the highway the belt became loose and I had to pull over I called the shop back and talk with *** and he said it was like that and they could have it towed back and they would fix it for $I didnt have it and wonder why didnt anyone tell me about it while I was at the shop they actually let me leave know that the pulley was loose so I said you can just have it towed to my house I'll get it fixed later my transmission light started blinking and I was have a jerking while I drove so I called and was told to bring it in cause it was still under warranty

My local mechanic directed me to them to get my transmission worked onThey were going to put in a used transmission for $It was there for a couple daysI went to pick up there car, and the steering was unsteadyI took it back and the fixed the steering wheelI told them I was driving the car across the country to sell the car and the clutch started stickingThey told me my clutch was in good condition.I drove all the way to Texas and the clutch went out and I had to have it towed because I could no longer drive the carMy clutch went out and I had to get the car towedThe mechanic down there said it might have been the clutch, and has something to do with the transmissionHe said it looked like no one did anything to my transmissionI called Bob's Transmission back and they said my issue has nothing to do with the transmissionI asked them to email me the receipt for the transmission they purchased for my car, and he never didI had to sell my car for a couple hundred

I sent my car to the shop and already knew there was a problem with the clutchI was told the 1st and 2nd gear was burnt out in the transmission and that they would fix it for $I told them I did not have $and I would call them backI called back 2-days later and I said I would get it towed to another shopI was told how much the tow was and I paid they tow about a month laterWhen the other shop came and got the car they tested the car and told me it would cost $to fix as all the gears were burnt outDuring the month that my car was with Bob's Transmission & Auto Service they had to have swapped engine and transmission in my vehicleI do all of the maintenance on my vehicle and when my vehicle was returned to me it was clear to me that something was wrongMy battery cables were not attachedWhen I got up under my vehicle it visibly looked differentThe spark plugs were not the ones that I had replaced a couple months earlier, the water pump was old and it w

We contacted the customer. He said he's been having problems with his transmission we rebuilt in January of 2015. He also said it was stuck in four wheel drive. We offered to tow his vehicle to our repair center and even though the transmission warranty term had expired, repair the
transmission free of charge and while here, we would evaluate the four wheel drive system. We towed the vehicle to our shop and upon arrival noticed it was shifted into the "four wheel drive low" position in the transfer case. We placed the transfer case into the "two wheel drive" position and test drove the vehicle. The transmission worked perfectly but had a fault code for a shift solenoid in the transmission. We replaced the shift solenoid and performed several test drives. The transmission worked properly and the fault code for the shift solenoid did not come back. The customer has picked up the vehicle and we covered the cost of the tow and the repair. We believe the reason the transfer case was getting stuck in wheel drive is due to having mismatched tires. In the wheel drive position the transfer case and front differential may bind up and make it hard to get out of wheel drive. The customer told us the tires were recently replaced at another shop and he was going to return there and get the correct tire size installed.Thank you
