Ms [redacted] vehicle was brought in to us on June 12th @5:42pm. It was diagnosed that the upper radiator hose was torn, and the lower hose was soft. Due to the vehicle overheating the thermostat would also need to be replaced. The cooling fan motor relay was replaced not the the motor as she...

indicates. It is also shown as the relay below line item. Matt [redacted] called Ms [redacted] on the evening of the 12th to relay his findings. He also stated and it is documented on the repair order that her vehicle may have head gasket failure but we are unable to test it due to the torn hose and thermostat. She gave Mr. [redacted] verbal authorization to repair the vehicle. Once the authorized repairs were made Mr. [redacted] called Ms. [redacted] on june 15th and informed her the head gasket had failed.On June 16th I spoke to Ms. [redacted] about her options of repairing the vehicle. She said she was on a limited budget and would need the weekend to align her finances. On June June 22nd Ms [redacted] called and said she was going to have her truck picked up and brought home until she could afford to fix the vehicle. I informed her that she could not drive it due to the head gasket failure and it would likely overheat again. Ms [redacted] agreed and said she would let me know. I offered our towing services if she needed them. Ms [redacted] daughter then came to pick up the vehicle without a tow truck and wanted to drive the vehicle home. After we instructed her the vehicle was not put back together since the parts will need to be removed to complete the head gasket job. She said it was fine, paid her bill and also said the vehicle would be brought back when they could afford the repair. The not signed portion of the invoice is her copy, we do not require them to sign their own copy. I also offered to have the vehicle towed back here at no charge to complete the head gasket repair.

Mr. [redacted] vehicle was towed into us on 12/11/15 for a no start complaint. Mileage 217,450. After testing we verified the high pressure oil pump was not building pressure as well as a vacuum leak under the valve cover.This vehicle requires 500psi to run but was only pumping 200psi. is ran off the oil pump so if the oil pump is not working properly it will not start. There were also codes in the computer for a MAP Sensor not reading. (This sensor was missing on arrival). After the repairs the vehicle had a extended crank time due to a failing FICM-this controls the fuel injectors making sure the work at the exact time they are needed. Vehicle was test driven. Customer did not pick up vehicle until 12/22/15Mr. Jams then brought his vehicle in 1/19/16@mileage 217,997 for leaking oil and the front end feeling loose. We determined the enigine oil cooler was leaking oil. This is a part that is located in the intake valley near the high pressure pump but is not removed for the replacement of the pump. As a customer satisfaction we split the cost of the labor on the oil cooler. $503.70 discount.  Mr [redacted] felt that was fair as we had not removed this part during our previous repairs. Customer picked up vehicle 2/1/16.Mr. [redacted] vehicle was towed in 4/30/16 for the engine making noise and leaking oil. When the truck arrived the vehicle showed no signs of oil leaks and was 1qt low on oil- Normal oil consumption is 1qt per 1000 miles. The engine has loud rod knock from lower end of engine (not related to the parts we replaced) We informed Mr. [redacted] the the ways to repair his vehicle either a new or used engine would be the most economical way to repair. We also informed him we could disassemble his engine to the point of failure to find the root cause of his failure. He declined. We were unable to get the mileage off the vehicle as Mr. [redacted] removed the batteries before it was towed outOur offer to Mr. [redacted] was with his previous repairs we would transfer those parts to his used engine at no additional costs as the new parts would be better that the ones on a used engine.These parts would normally not e removed during a used engine replacement. He declined the repairs and removed his batteries from the truck. He then paid his towing fee of $111.27 (no diagnostic fees were charged)and had AAA tow his vehicle home on May 15th 2016, (no storage fees were charged for it being left for 2 weeks)

I am rejecting this response because: No one called me at all. I can produce the phone call log from Comcast that only shows me calling them. They never called with an estimate or approval. They sent truck home with none of the parts they removed twice. If it was not ready why did they accept payment and give me the keys. I would not have approved $680.89 on a 16 year old vehicle. They know they are in the wrong and as a business should own up to what happened. What they sent is not true And I have 2 witnesses to verify my input is correct. The pictures should be enough evidence of what I am claiming.

I am rejecting this response because: The vehicle never leaked oil before the first repair they did. They say the customer did not pick up rhe vehicle till Feb but that was because it took that long to repair. Then the final cost $ 5,600 if there was something wrong with the engine to the point that it would blow up 1000 miles after the whole engine was torn apart twice into the same area because of inproper work, well anybody good at there job would of seen this coming a red flag. Then they don't honor there warranty. I don't belive there even certified to work on that type of engine. I am not the problem bobby and Steve's is. There answers are misleading and not factual. I was told 9000 to fix it and to find out what happend would cost me a ton of money. There for a mew motor would be in my best interest. Different employees would give me different responses as to why the oil is also leaking after the first repair more than one of them said it was because the mechanic pinched one of the gaskets then I was told that it was the oil cooler and then another person said it was the gaskets and they paid for the gaskets because they screwed him up and I still have the oil actual original oil cooler they took out that they said there was a 3 degree difference from one side to the other and that was outside of the factory specs and when I looked it up on the internet and did research and talk to other mechanics even at ford the factory specs for that oil cooler EGR is anything outside of 14 degrees that's when it needs to be replaced not 3 and I still have that part they took out so it can be tested or whatever needs to be done to it all this is, is another story by Bobby and Steve's to cover up there shotty work.
